Gant was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gant has been effective as a starter in the minor leagues, posting a 2.97 ERA with a 9.87 K/9, so he was a seemingly clear choice to replace Aaron Blair on the active roster. Despite the strong showing with Gwinnett, Gant wasn't all that great while pitching for the Braves earlier this season, posting a 7.04 ERA out of the Atlanta bullpen, so he'll have to prove that he can get big league hitters out before he garners much attention in the fantasy baseball realm.

Gant was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Gant made four relief appearances with the Braves, but was rendered ineffective after allowing six runs on nine hits and three walks in 7.2 innings pitched. He did post 11 strikeouts in that same span, so he could be back with the major league club once he can improve his ability to get upper-level batters out when they manage to make contact.

Gant was recalled by the Braves on Wednesday, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves shuffled their bullpen Wednesday with the move to option a struggling Ryan Weber and recall Gant. The 23-year-old Gant struggled in his first stint up with the Braves this season, allowing four earned runs and two home runs over 3.0 innings of work, but he does have an ability miss bats as evidenced by his seven strikeouts in that span.

Gant struck out seven batters in six innings of one run ball in Triple-A Gwinnett's late-inning loss to Charlotte on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Cant now holds a 3.68 ERA over 14.2 innings with Gwinnett to go along with 18 strikeouts. He had a stellar 2015 campaign where he made 24 starts between Double-A Binghamton, High-A St. Lucie, and Double-A Mississippi and produced a 3.08 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 140.1 innings. Given the fact he started the season on the Braves' 25-man roster and his terrific minor league resume, he has a great shot of receiving a call up in 2016.

Gant was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Gant was able to crack the Opening Day roster in Atlanta, but got off to a rocky start, allowing four earned runs over his first three innings. He'll look to tune things up in the minors, where the right-hander will be able to take on a more consistent workload. In the meantime, the Braves have recalled Chris Withrow to take his spot in the bullpen.
