Gant struck out seven batters in six innings of one run ball in Triple-A Gwinnett's late-inning loss to Charlotte on Friday.

He had a stellar 2015 campaign where he made 24 starts between Double-A Binghamton, High-A St. Lucie, and Double-A Mississippi and produced a 3.08 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 140.1 innings. Given the fact he started the season on the Braves' 25-man roster and his terrific minor league resume, he has a great shot of receiving a call up in 2016.
