Hazelbaker went 1-for-2 in Saturday's win over San Diego, delivering a pinch-hit three-run homer.
EDGE Analysis
Hazelbaker has been on pinch-hit duty the last few games after going 0-for-8 in back-to-back starts to begin the week. The 28-year-old is still batting a solid .311/.340/.689 in 45 at-bats this season and could continue to provide value if he can stay in the lineup with some regularity.

Hazelbaker will get the start in left field and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Padres.

Hazelbaker is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Hazelbaker is out of the lineup for the third consecutive game Saturday but he will be available off the bench. He has cooled down considerably since his torrid start to the season, going hitless in his last 16 at-bats. Stephen Piscotty and Randall Grichuk will man the right and center field spots respectively Saturday.

Hazelbaker is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Hazelbaker started in right field Tuesday and center field Monday, but he'll get the day off Wednesday as the Cardinals go with an outfield of Stephen Piscotty (right), Matt Holliday (left) and Randal Grichuk (center). After a torrid start to the season, Hazelbaker is 0 for his last 14 at the plate over the last five games.

Hazelbaker is not in the lineup Sunday for the second straight day.
EDGE Analysis
Hazelbaker still owns an impressive 1.276 OPS on the season, but he went just 3-for-13 at the plate over the last four games, and manager Mike Matheny has started to turn back to some of the players -- Randal Grichuk and Brandon Moss, namely -- who saw extra time on the bench to accommodate Hazelbaker's early-season hot streak.

Hazelbaker is out of Saturday's lineup against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The journeyman outfielder is scorching hot at the plate right now, but he will take a seat with lefty Brandon Finnegan on the mound for the Reds. When a righty is on the mound for the opposition, owners might as well continue to ride Hazelbaker's hot bat, but the sample size is far too small (37 plate appearances) and he has gotten far too fortunate on balls in play (.476 BABIP) to say with confidence that he can remain productive over the rest of the season.

Hazelbaker got the start in left field and went 4-for-4 Monday against the Brewers, including a double, a triple, a run scored and an RBI.
EDGE Analysis
Hazelbaker's ridiculously hot start continues, as the 28-year-old is now 10-for-19 (.526) with five extra-base hits in seven games. Hazelbaker is obviously going to slow down eventually, but his power show is an extension of a brilliant Triple-A stint with St. Louis last year that saw him mash 10 home runs in just 58 games. Hazelbaker is slugging 1.053 thus far, but we'll have to see if he can keep making contact after pitchers adjust -- he has consistently struck out in roughly a quarter of his at-bats in the minor leagues, and that won't cut it at the MLB level.

Hazelbaker is in the lineup Monday for the third day in a row.
EDGE Analysis
Hazelbaker has a hit in five straight games and an RBI in four in a row, so he will get another start Monday. Hazelbaker will man left field after starting in center field the previous two days, and hit second against Brewers starter Taylor Jungmann.

EDGE Analysis
Hazelbaker will get the nod in center field for the second time in three games, and he'll bat second against Braves' starter Julio Teheran. The 28-year-old is 3-for-6 at the plate thus far, notching a pair of home runs, including one in Friday's win over the Pirates.

Hazelbaker went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in his first MLB start Wednesday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
His long ball accounted for the Cards' only run (and one of just two hits) against dominant Pittsburgh starter Juan Nicasio. As a 28-year-old rookie who's serving as the fourth outfielder in Tommy Pham's (oblique) absence, his fantasy appeal remains limited outside NL-only formats, though it's worth keeping in mind that the Cardinals have had success with late-20s breakouts in the outfield before -- think Ryan Ludwick and Rick Ankiel. That's not to say we should expect great things from Hazelbaker, but it's worth keeping in mind that he's now the natural inheritor if one of the starting outfielders goes down with an injury.
