J.D. Martinez was 3-for-4 with a three-run homer in Friday's win over the Indians. Martinez has now homered in four out of his last five games. The 26-year-old has hit safely in 10 straight games, which has helped pull his batting line up to an impressive .317/.348/.615 on the year. Those in deeper mixed leagues could do worse than take a flier on the former Astro.

J.D. Martinez slugged a solo home run in the Tigers' victory over the Royals on Thursday. Martinez has now homered in three of the Tigers' last four games, and he boasts an impressive .300/.330/.570 batting line in 33 total games this season. The 26-year-old outfielder is worth a look in mixed fantasy leagues while he's hot. Martinez is known for streaky hitting.

J.D. Martinez homered again Wednesday and is 6-for-13 with two homers and a double in the series against the Royals. It's certainly not Martinez's fault the Tigers have lost all three games so far. He's hit in eight straight dating back to June 9. Martinez and Rajai Davis have both been able to start the last two days with Torii Hunter hurting, but once Hunter returns, expect Davis to sit against most righties to leave room for Martinez in left.

J.D. Martinez went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Royals on Tuesday. The Tigers got routed in the game, but Martinez did his part with three hits. The outfielder has a modest seven-game hitting streak in which he's 11-for-27 (.407) with four doubles and six RBI. He's been a really pleasant surprise since being recalled in late April, hitting .290/.327/.516 in 31 games.

J.D. Martinez hit a grand slam off Royals reliever Donnie Joseph in Monday's loss. The slam came with the Tigers down 11-4, so it didn't mean a whole lot, except to Martinez's stats. He has four homers and 20 RBI to go along with a solid .270 average in 89 at-bats, so he should continue starting over Rajai Davis against righties.

J.D. Martinez went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays. The Jays had taken a 5-0 lead in the top of the ninth, and Martinez attempted to bring them back with his three-run blast off of Steve Delabar in the bottom half of the inning, but that would be all of the scoring the Tigers would do. Martinez, who raked with Triple-A Toledo before his call-up on April 21, now has three home runs, 14 RBI, and a .262/.324/.492 slash line in 68 plate appearances.

J.D. Martinez hit a game-tying homer as a pinch-hitter in the ninth inning Monday against the Indians. It was Martinez's first homer in 40 at-bats since his callup on April 21. Before that, he had 10 in Triple-A. The Tigers have only sporadic at-bats available for him unless someone gets hurt, so his AL-only value is pretty limited.

J.D. Martinez had a nice night at the dish in Friday's win over the Royals, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI. He appears to be gaining traction towards becoming a semi-regular option in the Tigers outfield, hitting .278/.350/.444 with four RBI in his first 18 at-bats. He's worth a look in AL-only formats.

J.D. Martinez went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in his first start of the 2014 season. Martinez was called up and made his 2014 debut as a pinch-hitter on Monday. In the fifth inning, Martinez singled and stole second, then advanced to third on Tyler Flowers' throwing error, and would later score on a double. Martinez cranked out ten homers in 71 plate appearances at Triple-A, but he won't sustain that level of power against big league pitching.
