Odorizzi (3-2) allowed two runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out four over 5.2 innings, but didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Odorizzi put 11 runners on base, leading him to burn through 118 pitches in less than six innings. Despite the shaky outing, he's allowed two or fewer earned runs in all but two starts this season, and he's been a strong fantasy option with a 3.14 ERA. He'll make his next start Friday against the Mariners.

Odorizzi allowed just two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out eight batters over six innings during Monday's loss to the Angels. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
The eight punchouts were a season high for Odorizzi, and Monday's outing continued his strong run of starts to open the campaign. He sports a rock-solid 3.14 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 7.7 K/9 and is closing in on establishing himself as a matchup-proof fantasy option. Odorizzi lines up next for a road start against the Twins this weekend.

Odorizzi (3-2) allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk across six innings in Tuesday's win over the Indians. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Odorizzi cruised into the sixth inning with just one run on his ledger but saw that diminish after a Cleveland rally, which ended with a two-run home run by Edwin Encarnacion, brought three more around. He was able to finish out the frame, however, and wound up with an impressive win over one of the best teams in baseball. Despite missing a couple of weeks due to injury, Odorizzi has picked up right where he left off and now owns a tidy 3.16 ERA to go along with a tremendous 0.89 WHIP through 37 innings pitched. He seems to be truly emerging as a front-line pitcher in 2017 and will look to keep it going Monday against the Angels.

Odorizzi (2-2) allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four batters over six innings during Thursday's loss to Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old righty was outdone by Jason Vargas on Thursday. Odorizzi has now allowed two runs or fewer through each of his past five appearances -- just six total over 25 innings -- and sports a high-end 2.61 ERA and 0.81 WHIP for the season. While his 7.0 K/9 and 21.3 strikeout percentage aren't standout marks, Odorizzi is in a nice groove and appears to be kick-starting a breakout campaign. He lines up for a tough road matchup against Cleveland in his next trip to the hill.

Odorizzi (2-1) allowed one run and three hits while striking out six across seven innings to earn the win Saturday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Odorizzi completely stifled the Blue Jays bats while getting plenty of run support on his way to his second victory of the season. He's now gone four straight starts without allowing more than a single earned run, and with a 2.88 ERA, he could be enjoying a breakout year in his sixth season. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Royals.

Odorizzi (hamstring) returned to the mound Monday against the Marlins, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk across six innings en route to a no-decision. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Odorizzi pitched well in his return from a strained hamstring, giving up just a sacrifice fly after an error in the first inning and a solo homer to Marcell Ozuna in the fourth. He was rather economical and needed just 78 pitches to make it through five frames, but his absence over the last couple of weeks without a rehab assignment caused his removal at that juncture, just before the Rays took the lead. Though he wasn't lucky enough to get the win, Odorizzi still lowered his ERA to 3.50 and will look to be on a regular workload in Sunday's start against the Blue Jays.

Odorizzi (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day disabled list and will start Monday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Odorizzi is set to make his first start since April 15 after a tight left hamstring sidelined him for two weeks. The right-hander didn't embark on a minor-league rehab assignment prior to his activation and only tossed a simulated game, but it's not expected that he'll face a pitch-count limit Monday. Erasmo Ramirez will move to the bullpen to accommodate Odorizzi's return to the rotation.

Odorizzi (hamstring) will be activated from the 10-day disabled list Monday and start later that evening against the Marlins, Marc Topkin of Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Odorizzi experienced no issues coming out of his simulated game a few days earlier, so the Rays have formally named his as their starter for Monday's series opener. He'll be officially activated from the DL in the hours leading up to his start, but fantasy owners who had been patiently awaiting his return can likely activate him with confidence. He'll be in store for a two-start week, with his second turn coming May 6 against the Blue Jays.

Odorizzi (hamstring) will return to the rotation Monday against the Marlins, the Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday's simulated game went well, which was the final test for Odorizzi before he returned to the rotation. He has a 4.15 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB in 13 innings this season. Look for him to be activated Monday morning in advance of the start.

Odorizzi (hamstring) will throw a simulated game Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Odorizzi's upcoming workout goes as planned, he'll be on track to return to action Monday. Prior to being placed on the disabled list, Odorizzi had pitched 13 innings over three games, during which he allowed six runs. He's struggled with the long ball in the early stages of the season, as he's given up three home runs over said games.
