Irvin settled for the no-decision after throwing 3.2 innings, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out one, during Monday's 10-8 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Irvin worked a solid first three innings before things unraveled for him in the fourth inning, allowing five runs when it was all said and done. The Nationals led 7-0 entering the inning, so the frame ended with the lead still intact, but the right-hander didn't quite make it long enough to qualify for the victory. The last five starts haven't been too great for the 28-year-old; he's allowed 24 runs and 28 hits in 25 innings pitched. He's scheduled to make his next start on the road at Minnesota.

Irvin (7-5) took the loss Sunday against Milwaukee, allowing three unearned runs on four hits and one walk across five innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Irvin got no run support in the loss, and all three runs the Brewers scored while he was on the mound came after a two-out error by Brady House. Sunday's outing snapped a streak of seven consecutive starts yielding a home run. Irvin had also walked at least three batters in each of his last three appearances. The 28-year-old owns a 4.58 ERA and an 83:38 K:BB across 116 innings heading into the All-Star break.

Irvin (7-4) took the loss Tuesday against the Cardinals, giving up four runs on six hits and four walks in six innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Limiting free passes remains an issue for Irvin, who walked at least three in his third straight start. The 28-year-old right-hander has fanned greater than five just one time in his last eight outings, during which he has just two quality starts to go with a poor 6.96 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB over 42.2 innings. Irvin doesn't set up as a particularly appealing streaming option in most formats this weekend in Milwaukee against the hot-hitting Brewers, who sport an .804 OPS over their last 18 games.

Irvin (7-3) earned the win Thursday over the Tigers, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
It looked like it would be a short outing for Irvin after he gave up a three-run homer to Spencer Torkelson in the first inning. However, the right-hander would turn things around and hold Detroit without a hit over his final five frames while en route to his seventh win this year. It's a strong bounce-back effort for Irvin, who was tagged for nine runs (eight earned) in his last start against the Angels. Overall, he sports a 4.71 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP and 75:33 K:BB across 18 starts (105 innings) this season. Irvin's currently lined up to face the Cardinals on the road in his next outing.

Irvin allowed nine runs (eight earned) on nine hits and four walks while striking out five over 4.1 innings in a no-decision Friday versus the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Irvin was awful, but so was his counterpart, Angels starter Jose Soriano. Things were ugly early for Irvin, who gave up five runs over his first three innings all on home runs before faltering again in the fourth and fifth. This was his shortest start of the season and the sixth time in 17 starts he's allowed four or more runs. Irvin is at a 4.73 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 71:30 K:BB through 99 innings. He's projected to make his next start at home in a tough matchup versus the Tigers.

Irvin (6-3) earned the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Irvin served up a pair of solo home runs, but outside of those he managed to keep Los Angeles from scoring. The right-hander picked up his first victory over his past four starts and reached seven strikeouts for the fourth time through 16 starts on the campaign. Irvin has been far from dominant this year, but he's surrendered three or fewer earned runs in 11of his 16 appearances. He's projected for a road matchup against the Angels in his next start.

Irvin settled for the no-decision after throwing six innings, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five during Monday's 6-4 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Irvin delivered a quality start for the first time in four tries, a nice step in the right direction. He had a good three-start stretch prior to his cold streak, allowing just five runs over that time. The 28-year-old will need to cut down on the home runs after allowing another one Monday, now up to 13 total on the year in his 15 starts. The right-hander has a steep challenge ahead of him as he is lined up to face the Dodgers in his next start.

Irvin (5-3) was charged with the loss Wednesday against the Mets after giving up four runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Irvin matched his season high in walks, and he served up multiple home runs for the fourth time this year. However, the right-hander was still able to throw at least five innings in his 14th consecutive start to begin the campaign. Irvin has an ordinary 4.21 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 54:25 K:BB over 83.1 innings, but he's slated for a favorable home matchup next week versus a Rockies team with just a .590 OPS on the road since the start of May.

Irvin (5-2) took the loss Thursday against the Cubs, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks with three strikeouts over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Irvin added a tally in the loss column for the first time in six starts and failed to complete six innings for a second straight outing. Before that, Irvin had tossed six innings in seven of his previous eight appearances. In 13 starts this season, Irvin owns a 4.02 ERA, a 1.23 WHIP and a 50:22 K:BB over 78.1 innings. He's on track to face the Mets in New York next time out.

Irvin (5-1) allowed six runs on 10 hits and a walk while failing to record a strikeout over five innings, earning the win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Arizona scored four times in the first inning and twice more in the third, but that was just to keep pace with Washington's offense. Irvin has won three starts in a row despite matching his season high in runs allowed in this outing. He's maintained a 3.93 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 47:20 K:BB across 73.1 innings across 12 starts in 2025. The right-hander is lined up to make his next start at home versus the Cubs.
