Ryu (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day DL Sunday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu is dealing with some shoulder soreness, and was never expected to be ready for Opening Day. Look for the lefty to continue working in extended spring training before attempting a mid-May return.

Ryu (shoulder) will remain in Arizona for extended spring training, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
This isn't all that surprising, as the left-hander will not be available to pitch for the Dodgers until mid-May. He'll continue making progress through his rehab program with the hope that he can return to the rotation around that time.

Ryu (shoulder) will toss a bullpen session Wednesday, and if he passes that test, he's scheduled to throw live batting practice next week, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Ryu is cleared for the BP session, it's unclear whether he'll complete said throws at the Dodgers' spring facility or in Los Angeles itself. No matter his next step, though, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA relays that Ryu is at the same stage as position players upon their arrival at spring training, which leaves the starter approximately 6-7 weeks from his season debut. Knowing that, the best-case scenario for his return appears to be the second week of May.

Ryu (shoulder) threw another bullpen session Wednesday and reported his best velocity since last year's shoulder surgery, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.
EDGE Analysis
Encouraging results, but Ryu is still a long way from facing hitters. Mid-May remains his best-case scenario for a return to the hill.

Manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that he doesn't expect Ryu (shoulder) to pitch in a game this spring, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Ryu threw a bullpen session Monday, he remains a ways away from returning to actual game action. The Dodgers will keep Ryu on a longer-term return timeline, with the expectation that he could be back in the major league rotation by mid-to-late May.

Ryu (shoulder) successfully completed a 20-pitch bullpen session Monday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This was Ryu's first bullpen session since Feb. 26. He reportedly threw with moderate velocity without any issues, and Ryu even commented that he believes this is a step in the right direction toward his full recovery. As long as he continues to have good bullpen sessions like this one, Ryu could be able to make it back into the Dodger rotation by sometime in May.

Ryu (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session on Monday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu last threw on February 26 and reported minor discomfort after the session, so his recovery from this one will be worth watching. Mid-May appears to still be the best-case scenario for his return.

Ryu (shoulder) said in a diary post on the Korean website NAVER that he will probably throw a bullpen session next week.
EDGE Analysis
Considering this is coming from the player and not the team, it is not safe to treat it as gospel, but it is good to hear he at least thinks he would be able to throw a bullpen in the near future. Kim's timetable to join the Dodgers' rotation remains extremely foggy, as he could be starting games in May, or the shoulder issue could linger into the summer months.

Ryu (shoulder) felt good after playing catch Monday and will play catch again on Tuesday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
So far so good. There is still no timetable for Ryu to throw a bullpen session.

Ryu (shoulder) resumed throwing Monday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers said over the weekend that there was no set date for Ryu to resume throwing, but it appears no one involved had to wait that long, as he was able to pick up a ball again Monday. Ryu still has a ways to go before he is back at 100 percent, but his preparation for the regular season is again in motion. At this point it's looking like his 2016 debut will come at some point in mid-to-late May.
