Ryu (shoulder) will pitch in another rehab game Friday at High-A Rancho Cucamonga, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu had his previous rehab outing cut short due to rain Tuesday with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He only tossed 26 pitches (20 strikes) during 1.2 innings of work, and will get another start Friday before being eligible to return to the Dodgers on Monday. Ryu has made four starts in the past couple weeks between Oklahoma City and Rancho Cucamonga, totaling 12.2 innings with ten earned runs given up. Besides one rough outing, the 29-year-old has looked good, and has accumulated a 14:1 K:BB during that span.

Rye (shoulder) pitched a rain-shortened outing Tuesday against Triple-A Iowa.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu tossed 1.2 innings, giving up two hits and one unearned run, before the game was called due to rain. He threw 26 pitches, 20 of which were strikes. The 29-year-old has now made six rehab starts, posting a 4.57 ERA over 21.1 innings, but none of those outings have last more than four innings. Given his small pitch count Tuesday, the Dodgers may want to give him one or two more starts in the minors with heavier workloads before they call him up to the majors.

Manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Ryu (shoulder) is not in contention to start for the Dodgers on Wednesday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the team hopes to have the southpaw back before the All-Start break, he's still in the process of building up his pitch count and requires more time on the rehab assignment. Brock Stewart and Carlos Frias appear the two favorites to receive the start, but more on the situation should come about in the next couple days. Meanwhile, Ryu will continue working in the minors with the hopes of rejoining the club after a couple more rehab starts.

Ryu is projected to throw four innings (~60 pitches) Friday for High-A Rancho Cucamonga, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu is slowly but surely nearing his return to majors following 2015 shoulder surgery that's kept him out all of the 2016 season. Although his recovery has not been the smoothest, he made a successful rehab outing Sunday -- tossing 46 pitches over three innings -- and is now set to go again Friday, this time with a four-inning, 60-pitch ceiling.

Ryu (shoulder) made his first minor league rehab appearance in two and a half weeks Sunday, tossing three solid innings for High-A Rancho Cucamonga, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu allowed a run on three hits with no walks and three strikeouts. Ryu felt good after the game, so barring any further setbacks, he should be in line for another appearance later this week.

Ryu (shoulder) threw the ball 90 feet Monday to exercise his surgically repaired labrum, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, the Dodgers will be taking their time with Ryu as he's facing a brief setback in his rehab program. While it's promising that he was able to play catch, there's no further timetable as to when Ryu is expected to throw at a higher capacity, let alone in a live pitching situation.

Though he remains without an official timetable, Ryu (shoulder) isn't expected to return until after the All-Star break, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
After suffering a setback with his shoulder during his rehab assignment at High-A Rancho Cucamonga, Ryu resumed his throwing program Saturday, doing long toss from 90-to-120 feet. The Dodgers are expected to proceed slowly with Ryu this time around to avoid another setback, with manager Dave Roberts stating the right-hander will need at least four rehab starts before rejoining the Dodgers. Those four starts would likely cover from than a month, making it unlikely that Ryu is activated from the 60-day DL before mid-July.

Ryu is dealing with some soreness following his most recent outing and has been taken off his current assignment, Buster Olney of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu's continues to work his way back from a shoulder issue that's kept him on the sideline since the beginning of the season. The 26-year-old southpaw will now back off "a bit" in his recovery, with an unclear timetable ahead. Expect further updates as he picks up his rehab again.

Ryu (shoulder) notched a pair of scoreless innings, striking out two in his first rehab start for High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu threw 19 of his 22 pitches for strikes while topping out at 89 mph on the radar gun. Ryu estimated his effort at "60 to 70 percent", so the relatively low velocity is not a concern at this point. He'll likely need several more rehab appearances before joining the Dodgers.
