Ryu (3-0) allowed two hits while walking three batters and striking out eight across seven innings to record the win Saturday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu has been strong to begin the season and this start marks the third consecutive time he has pitched at least six innings and recorded a minimum of eight strikeouts. His K-BB% is up by over eight percent from last season, a good indication that he is pitching at a much higher level and that his results have been earned to this point. His next start will likely come Friday against the Giants, where he will hope to continue his dominant form.

Ryu (2-0) struck out nine over six innings and held the Padres to two runs on just three hits to pick up the win Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
Since failing to complete four innings against the Diamondbacks his first time out, Ryu has been sharp, notching 17 strikeouts and allowing just four hits and two runs over 12 innings. We haven't seen this Ryu consistently since 2014, and if the Dodgers are going to get over this slow start, a consistently solid Ryu will be key.

Ryu (1-0) got his first win of the season on Tuesday, shutting out Oakland over six strong innings, striking out eight, walking one and yielding just one hit in a 4-0 victory for the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
It was a great bounce-back effort from the left-hander after he lasted just 3.2 innings and gave up three runs in his first start of the year against the Diamondbacks. Ryu posted a 1.37 WHIP in his 126.2 innings last year, so it wouldn't be advised to expect him to be this dominant every start. That said, if he can manage to get that number back down towards the 1.20 mark he averaged in 2013-14 and hover around the 3.44 ERA he's posted for his career this season, Ryu could work his way back into the discussion as a viable option to help fill out a fantasy staff.

Ryu will now make his next start on Tuesday against the Athletics, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu was originally slated to start Tuesday's game, with Alex Wood (illness) drawing the Wednesday start. Those plans changed Sunday when Wood was unable to throw his scheduled bullpen session due to his bout with food poisoning. Ryu's start will be moved up a day with Wood now taking the mound Wednesday.

Ryu will make his next start Wednesday at Oakland, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu's next schedule start was uncertain with the Dodgers' plethora of days off surrounding this weekend, in addition to Friday's postponement. The 31-year-old's only start of the season came April 2, so he should be considerably well-rested for Wednesday's matchup with the Athletics.

Ryu could start Saturday against the Giants, though the Dodgers' next few starters are up in the air, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A Saturday start would keep Ryu on normal rest after he made his first start of the year Monday. There is some uncertainty surrounding the Dodgers' next few starts, though, as they have an off day Thursday followed by a rain-threatened game Friday. The tentative plan appears to be to leave Kenta Maeda in the bullpen for a few games, with Rich Hill starting Friday and Ryu starting Saturday. If Friday's game is cancelled, however, it will presumably be Ryu and not Hill who gets skipped, with Hill's start being bumped back to Saturday. If that's the case, Ryu could be in the bullpen for some time, as the Dodgers would play just four games in eight days from April 5 to 12.

Ryu allowed three runs on five hits and five walks across 3.2 innings en route to a no-decision Monday against the D-Backs. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu could hardly find the strike zone in this one, throwing just 53 percent of his pitches over the plate before leaving with an elevated pitch count. He was staked to an early lead but allowed the hosts to score in three different innings as they came roaring back before winning in extras. It was a difficult matchup for Ryu in his season debut, but the results did little to inspire confidence in him ahead of Sunday's outing against the Giants.

Ryu will slot in fifth in the Dodgers' rotation once Opening Day hits, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
This news shouldn't come as a big surprise after the club sent Walker Buehler -- the Dodgers' top pitching prospect and biggest risk to Ryu's rotation spot -- to the minors earlier this week. That said, the veteran southpaw won't have a very long leash with the youngster knocking on the door behind him. The 30-year-old bounced back from a shoulder injury in 2017, posting a usable 3.77 ERA with an 8.2 K/9 across 126.2 innings. His propensity to serve up homers (1.6 HR/9) is what held him back from the strong results we saw in his first two seasons in the majors.

Ryu pitched 2.2 innings in a 'B' game Monday against the White Sox before reaching his pitch count, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although he was scratched from a scheduled start last week due to an illness, the Dodgers expect Ryu to have enough time left this spring to get completely stretched out prior to the first week of the regular season. During Monday's outing, Ryu was tinkering with his curveball, with the hope of increasing the spin rate of the pitch. Health permitting, Ryu will be counted on as one of the Dodgers' regular rotation members this season after he racked up 116 strikeouts in 126.2 innings over 25 games (24 starts) last season.

Ryu (illness) is scheduled to pitch tomorrow in the Dodgers' B game, Alanna Rizzo of SportsNetLA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu will take the mound after being scratched from his last start Wednesday because of an illness. Now that he's returned to health, he'll pitch in the B game against minor-league talent Monday.
