Ryu will have his next start skipped, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu bounced back Tuesday after giving up six runs during his Aug. 30 outing, but the Dodgers can afford to skip one of their six starters with an off day next Thursday. It's uncertain when Ryu will return to the rotation; depending on where he slots in, he may only make two or three starts before the end of the regular season.

Ryu held the Diamondbacks to one run on three hits and five walks while striking out seven over six innings Tuesday. He did not factor into the decision in the extra-inning loss.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu bounced back in a big way after getting torched for six runs in his last start against these very same Diamondbacks. The veteran southpaw pitched well outside of the five walks, but the Dodgers' offensive struggles prevented him from notching his sixth win of the season. Ryu will look to continue his second-half excellence (2.60 ERA in eight starts) in a favorable matchup against the Giants next Monday.

Ryu (5-7) was shelled for six runs on eight hits (three home runs) by the Diamondbacks on Wednesday. He walked three and struck out two while taking the loss.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu had been pitching like an ace over his last nine starts, posting a 2.13 ERA with an 8.7 K/9 before running into a red-hot Arizona lineup. The 30-year-old southpaw could get bumped from the rotation once the playoffs start, but he has pitched well enough (3.71 ERA) to finish out the regular season as a starter. Ryu will get a rematch with D-Backs next Tuesday, but the start will come at home in pitcher-friendly Dodger Stadium.

Ryu (5-6) gave up one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings in a winning effort against the Pirates on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The two strikeouts tied his season low, but Ryu was able to keep the ball on the ground and avoid any real trouble outside of the second inning. He allowed just three baserunners over his final four frames, with one reaching on an infield single. Ryu has now allowed three runs or fewer in nine consecutive appearances, bringing his ERA and WHIP down to 3.34 and 1.29, respectively. Next up, a road start against Arizona.

Ryu allowed five hits and four walks through five scoreless innings in a no-decision Saturday against the Tigers. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
While Ryu didn't pitch long enough to earn the win -- as the Dodgers didn't get on the scoreboard until the seventh inning -- he put together his third scoreless outing in his last four tries (24 innings). He's still just 4-6 on the season, but Ryu should come by his share of wins with his 3.45 ERA coupled with the way the Dodgers are playing. He'll try to keep things up as he makes his next start Thursday against the Pirates.

Ryu gave up three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five in five innings Saturday against the Padres. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
After back-to-back seven-inning starts where Ryu did not allow a run and struck out at least seven in each start, he came back to earth a little, despite facing a pretty weak Padres lineup. He was able to avoid a big inning, but the Padres tagged him for a run in the third, fourth and fifth innings. Ryu struggled with efficiency, needing 108 pitches (68 strikes) to get through five frames. His next start will come next weekend in Detroit.

Ryu was spectacular Sunday, tossing seven innings of one-hit ball while striking out eight in a 8-0 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The impressive victory snaps a four-start streak of no-decisions for Ryu, who only allowed six earned runs and racked up 23 strikeouts over 22.2 innings during that span. He's now 4-6 on the year with a 3.53 ERA and 1.28 WHIP through 17 starts and is doing well in rounding out the Dodgers' rotation while Clayton Kershaw (back) and Brandon McCarthy (finger) remain sidelined.

Ryu gave up no runs on five hits in a no-decision Sunday against the Giants. He struck out seven and walked one.
EDGE Analysis
The game was scoreless until after he departed, spoiling a valiant effort by the 30-year-old. Ryu hasn't factored into a decision in four straight starts, a span that's featured 23 strikeouts, seven walks and only six earned runs, so his 3-6 record on the year is a little misleading. He'll next toe the rubber Saturday against the Mets.

Ryu allowed two runs on five hits with three walks and five strikeouts over five innings in Monday's no-decision against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu struggled with command problems in his first appearance since June 28, walking more than two batters for just the third time in 14 starts. The powerful Los Angeles offense unsurprisingly had him in line for a win with a 3-2 lead after five innings, but the bullpen quickly dashed those hopes by allowing a run in the sixth. Ryu should be sharper in his next start Saturday against a Giants team that ranks 26th with a meager .678 OPS facing lefties.

Ryu (foot) was activated from the 10-day disabled list and is starting Monday's game against the Twins, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
As anticipated, Ryu will make a return from injury Monday, which is just in time for the Dodgers given that the corresponding move is Clayton Kershaw (back) replacing him on the DL. Ryu will face off with Minnesota starter Bartolo Colon in the series opener.
