Dozier (wrist) may be moved to the 60-day DL to clear space on the 40-man roster for Brian Flynn, who is scheduled to return from a back injury this week, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old outfielder entered the campaign with high hopes, but a pair of injuries derailed Dozier's season. He's expected to miss most of the remaining 2017 schedule anyway, so bumping him from the 40-man makes sense. Dozier is a decent prospect for dynasty league owners to monitor, but he's likely off the radar until next spring.

Dozier suffered a left hamate (wrist) fracture and is back on the 7-day DL at Triple-A Omaha, Rustin Dodd of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
He missed the first six weeks of the minor-league season with an oblique strain, and now might miss most of the rest of the season with a broken wrist. Dozier is not an elite prospect, and is mostly relevant because of his proximity to the big leagues. He can be cut loose in deep single-season formats.

Dozier (oblique) was reinstated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier is ready to return from his rehab assignment after appearing in five games with High-A Wilmington and Triple-A Omaha; he went 5-for-16 (.313) with eight strikeouts. Without a clear path to everyday at-bats with the Royals, Dozier will stick with Omaha for the time being, though he should remain a top option in the minors should an opportunity arise with the big club.

Dozier (oblique) moved his rehab assignment to Triple-A Omaha on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier appeared in three games for High-A Wilmington to kick off his rehab, going 4-for-11 with five strikeouts in those contests. The Royals haven't etched out a timetable for Dozier's activation from the disabled list, but with no starting role with the big club awaiting the 25-year-old, the team may be inclined to keep him on the rehab assignment for the full 20 days.

Dozier (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with High-A Wilmington.
EDGE Analysis
After injuring his oblique in late March, little has been revealed about the progress he's made in his rehab program. However, it seems like Dozier is nearly back to full health and is well on his way to return as soon as he's eligible to do so in the beginning of June. A more specific return timetable should be revealed once he gets a few games under his belt.

Dozier was diagnosed with a strained oblique Sunday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier incurred the injury while swinging in a minor-league game at the latter end of the week. The club's current estimate is that he could miss between six and eight weeks with the ailment, but a more specific timeframe for his return should become available as his recovery progresses.

Dozier (oblique) was recalled from Triple-A Omaha and subsequently placed on the 60-day disabled list Sunday, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though there's been no news of this injury in the past, it appears that Dozier is dealing with a strained oblique. His placement on the 60-day DL will open up a 40-man roster spot for Peter Moylan. The 25-year-old will be eligible to return in early June.

Dozier was optioned to Triple-A Omaha, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
RotoWire ranks Dozier as Kansas City's seventh-best prospect, following his breezy year combined at Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Triple-A Omaha (.296/.366/.533, with 23 home runs and 75 RBI in 544 plate appearances). The 25-year-old likely has little to prove on the farm but doesn't have a clear spot for major league playing time. His versatility to play third base and outfield, however, may make him one of the first candidates for a promotion if an avenue opens up.

Dozier said Sunday that he has been suffering from a minor left wrist issue that dates back to last August, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The fact that Dozier is still battling pain in his left wrist can't be something that the Royals exactly like to hear. While the issue appears to be very minor right now, wrist injuries can often be tricky and have the potential to sap power if they intensify. Fortunately for Dozier, he'll have all of spring training to help himself get fully healthy for the regular season.

The Royals called up Dozier from Triple-A Omaha on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier, one of the Royals' top prospects, earned his first trip to the majors by posting an .864 OPS over 103 games with Omaha this season. It seems unlikely that he will play every day right away with Cheslor Cuthbert holding his own at third base, but he figures to see some action at the hot corner, and may see some time in right field as well.
