The Royals called up Dozier from Triple-A Omaha on Friday.

Dozier, one of the Royals' top prospects, earned his first trip to the majors by posting an .864 OPS over 103 games with Omaha this season. It seems unlikely that he will play every day right away with Cheslor Cuthbert holding his own at third base, but he figures to see some action at the hot corner, and may see some time in right field as well.
