Dozier (oblique) was recalled from Triple-A Omaha and subsequently placed on the 60-day disabled list Sunday, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio reports.

EDGE Analysis

Though there's been no news of this injury in the past, it appears that Dozier is dealing with a strained oblique. His placement on the 60-day DL will open up a 40-man roster spot for Peter Moylan. The 25-year-old will be eligible to return in early June.
