Stanton went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
All eight runs scored in this one were on solo homers, and Stanton got his out of the way early after going back-to-back with Marcell Ozuna in the first inning. The Marlins had to be relieved to see their young slugger go yard again, as he hadn't done so since May 24. Hopefully he'll start producing again with that monkey off his back.

Stanton went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI during Friday's win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
It's rare that a pair of base hits qualifies as a newsworthy effort from Stanton, but it was just his second multi-hit game since May 13. He's driven in just five runs during the month of June but did manage to get his average back up to the Mendoza line. The struggling slugger is batting .200/.309/.420 over 200 at-bats this season.

Stanton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Don Mattingly will give Ichiro Suzuki the nod in right field Tuesday in place of Stanton, who has been mired in one of the worst slumps of his career. Stanton went 1-for-3 with a double in his return to the lineup Tuesday, but he also had had a strikeout, marking 12 consecutive games with a K for him. His next chance to return to the lineup will come Friday against the Rockies.

Stanton is back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The slumping Stanton got the night off Monday in the midst of a 4-for-39 stretch over the last two days week. The 26-year-old is scuffling mightily on the year and he has been unable to go on one of his signature hot streaks thus far in 2016. Still, he's too talented to be mired in a slump for too much longer, so a return to form could be around the corner. He'll bat fifth in the order Tuesday against lefty Drew Pomeranz.

Stanton is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Ichiro will play right field for the Marlins on Monday night, while Stanton is on the bench against Padres right-hander Colin Rea. No reason has been given for Stanton's absence at this time.

Stanton went 0-for-5 with one RBI in his return to the lineup during Tuesday's loss to the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The slugger's struggles continue as his season line has dropped to a pedestrian .197/.310/.439 through 48 games. The power numbers are passable (12 homers and 28 RBI over 173 at-bats), but it is difficult to characterize Stanton's first two months as anything more than a disappointment. Of course, we've seen him break out of similar slumps in the past with unparalleled hot-stretches so owners simply need to stay patient and let the perennial all-star figure things out at the dish. Cutting down on his current 34.5% strikeout rate, which easily represents the worst rate of his career, would be a great place to start.

Stanton is back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
After getting the day off for Sunday's series finale against the Mets, Stanton will return to the lineup for Tuesday's tilt in Minnesota. Stanton has faced some difficult struggles at the plate over the last month, slashing .118/.230/.263 with 37 strikeouts in that span, but he'll have an opportunity to break out of that slump when he faces left-hander Pat Dean on Tuesday. Despite his struggles, Stanton is still slashing a more-than-respectable .267/.389/.567 against southpaws on the year.

Stanton is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Since returning to action Wednesday, Stanton has made four straight starts in right field, but has gone a miserable 1-for-14 over that span, striking out seven times. He'll get the day off Sunday to catch a breather and hopefully right the ship, while Ichiro Suzuki will get the starting nod in right.

Stanton continues to look lost at the plate, going 0-for-4 with three more strikeouts in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old's nightmarish season continues, with the trio of whiffs he suffered Friday bringing his season total to an astounding 67 in just 164 at-bats. Stanton's strikeout rate is now the highest it's ever been in his nine-plus professional seasons, save for a 35-plate appearance stint in Single-A ball in 2007. While he has managed to keep his power at respectable levels, that aspect of his game has suffered a downturn in recent weeks as well. After recording eight homers in April, Stanton has just four roundtrippers since that point, only two in his last 42 at-bats.

Stanton went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI, two walks and a strikeout against Pittsburgh on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton has been a huge fantasy disappointment this season, but the fact that he's hitting, getting on base and producing runs could indicate he might be leaving his slump behind. His average is still a paltry .213, but he's hit safely in four of the past five games. All the signs indicate he's on the right track.
