Stanton is not in the lineup Thursday against Philadelphia, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton will get his first game off since the start of the All-Star break as Ichiro Suzuki takes his place in right and bats leadoff. Stanton is 0-for-9 in his last two games but has collected two multi-hit games and three doubles since the start of the second half.

Stanton doubled, walked, scored one run and drove in one RBI as part of a 2-for-3 effort Friday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton had a strong finish to an otherwise forgettable first half, carrying a seven game hitting streak into the break and then mashing his way to a Home Run Derby crown. He picked up right where he left off before All-Star festivities as Stanton continues to push his .238/.335/.500 slash line back to respectability. THe lumbering outfielder has slugged five home runs over what is now an eight game hit-streak and is up to 41 runs scored and 51 RBI on the year.

Stanton went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run shot, his 20th home run of the season, in Sunday's win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
His bat has suddenly come alive heading into the All-Star break, and Stanton now has a seven-game hitting streak going that includes five homers and 10 RBI. Don't be surprised if he steals the show during the Home Run Derby.

Stanton went 2-for-3 with two solo homers in a loss to the Mets on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins slugger accounted for both of Miami's runs in the 4-2 loss. In the last two days, he's been absolutely on fire, going 5-for-7 with four homers, seven RBI and four runs. Stanton has 19 bombs this season, including seven since missing time at the end of May.

Stanton went 3-for-4 with two home runs, his 16th and 17th of the year, and five RBI Tuesday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The slugger matched his career high for RBI in a game to lift the Marlins to a much-needed with against their divisional foe. Stanton is certainly showing signs of progress after a horrid start to 2016, but that improvement still isn't coming as quickly as owners want. Despite recording hits in eight of his last 12 games, the outfielder's average has only risen 10 points, and still sits at a putrid .226 through 265 at-bats.

Stanton is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Ichiro Suzuki will take over in right field Saturday while Stanton gets the day off against a right-hander. Stanton went 1-for-6 with a strikeout in Friday's contest, dropping his average down to .219 on the season.

Stanton went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
His 15th home run of the year was a two-run dinger in the second inning off Mike Pelfrey. After going homerless in 15 straight games to begin the month, Stanton has belted three in his last seven games and appears to be turning his season around. In the outfielder's last ten games, he's 16-for-40 (.400) while notching 11 RBI.

Stanton went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, two runs and a walk in Saturday's 9-6 victory over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Don't look now, but the Marlins slugger is finally showing some signs of life. He's recorded multi-hit efforts in five of his last eight games, and has a pair of homers and eight RBI over that span as well. Considering he was hitting .192 as recently as June 12, even Stanton's current .219/.319/.443 line is cause of optimism.

Stanton went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and two runs Thursday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
He's been hot for nearly a week now, ripping off two homers among 10 hits in 25 at-bats (.400) over a six-game span. Looking at the stats right now, his has been a disastrous season for Stanton, but a productive end to June and then a big second half will make everyone forget about his early struggles. If anyone can be counted on to do just that, it's the Marlins' slugging right fielder.

Stanton is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton struggles at the plate continued as he struck out twice and had zero hits in five at-bats during Tuesday's loss to the Braves. Ichiro Suzuki will start in right field instead and lead off in order to get more lefties in the lineup to face right-hander John Gant.
