Stanton (groin) believes he will return for the last week of the regular season, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton's Grade 3 strain carries with it a six-week minimum for recovery, which would put the slugger in line to rejoin the club for the last week should he meet that timetable. While a return in the final week wouldn't make up for his missed time up to that point, it could push fantasy owners over the top come championship week.

Stanton (groin) will miss the remainder of the 2016 season, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton tweaked his groin following an at-bat Saturday night, and the news began to look ominous when it was announced he would end up on the DL Sunday morning. The team sent him for an MRI, and the results concluded a worse-case scenario: a season-ending injury. The Marlins may eventually look for a replacement to fill the huge void left by Stanton's bat, but in the short term, Ichiro Suzuki will take over in right field. It's a devastating blow for a Miami squad that was just a half-game behind in the NL Wild Card standings entering Sunday's play.

Stanton is set to undergo an MRI on his groin injury, Craig Davis of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton tweaked his groin in Saturday evening's matchup, and the ailment landed him on the disabled list Sunday morning. Now, it appears the team will send him for an MRI so they know exactly what they're dealing with. Miami is in the heat of a Wild Card race, so getting a clear timetable for the slugger is a high priority. With Stanton on the shelf, look for Ichiro Suzuki to make steady starts in right field.

Updating a previous report, Stanton (groin) is headed for the 15-day DL, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton was reported as a candidate for the disabled list earlier Sunday morning, and the recent update by Frisaro essentially confirms those intentions. Furthermore, Andy Slater of 940 AM Miami backs up the story as well. It's an incredibly tough break for the Marlins, who currently sit a half-game back in the NL Wild Card standings. Fantasy owners will also loss an asset that has posted a .937 OPS since July 1.

Stanton sustained a groin injury in Saturday's game against the White Sox and is expected to be placed on the 15-day DL, ESPN.com's Buster Olney reports.
EDGE Analysis
After singling with two outs in the bottom of the ninth Saturday, Stanton tweaked his groin when he was thrown out at second base while attempting to stretch the hit into a double, ending the game. The Marlins evaluated him after the contest, and it appears the outfielder's injury is more significant than anticipated. Stanton's expected loss is a huge blow for the Marlins, who remain in the mix for a wild-card spot, so the team will just have to hope that he doesn't miss much more than the minimum 15 days. While Stanton remains out, Ichiro Suzuki should slide into an everyday role in the outfield.

Stanton (hip) is back in the lineup Friday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
A bout of hip soreness forced Stanton from Tuesday's game and kept him on the bench Wednesday, but it seems the rest provided by Thursday's team off day did the trick. He will man right field and bat cleanup against lefty Carlos Rodon. Stanton has a full 200-point lefty/righty OPS split this season, with his mark against southpaws coming in at .977 (.777 OPS vs. RHP).

Stanton will be held out of Wednesday's lineup due to hip soreness, but the injury is not considered serious, the Miami Herald's Clark Spencer reports.
EDGE Analysis
He went 1-for-2 with a RBI double and a walk Tuesday before being replaced by a pinch hitter, so something likely happened with his hip during Tuesday's game. Derek Dietrich and Ichiro Suzuki are options to replace Stanton in the lineup Wednesday. The Marlins are off Thursday, which will provide Stanton with an extra day of rest. He should be considered day-to-day in advance of this weekend's series against the White Sox.

Stanton launched a 508-foot solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
The blast was Stanton's 23rd on the year and notably the longest home run in Coors Field history. Overall, however, Stanton continues to limp along this season while batting a disappointing .242/.329/.490 over 359 at-bats. He's hit just three home runs in 21 games since the All-Star break.

Stanton went 2-for-5 with a home run in Wednesday's 11-1 victory over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The surging outfielder's two-run homer traveled 430 feet in the first inning, giving Stanton 22 bombs and 59 RBI on the season. After a horrendous start to his 2016 campaign, Stanton has righted the ship and is back on pace to hit 35-plus longballs and challenge 100 RBI. Stanton was hitting a pathetic .193 as of June 15, but has since raised his average more than 50 points while ripping off nine home runs and 28 RBI during the resurgence.

Stanton went 4-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in a victory over the Mets on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The big right-hander had just one hit in his previous 13 at-bats, so it was nice to see him break out again. This was his first home run since winning the Home Run Derby. Stanton is hitting .241 with 21 homers, 55 RBI and 44 runs in 311 at-bats.
