Manager A.J. Hinch said Gattis is still feeling symptoms from his concussion, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gattis suffered a concussion after being hit in the head by a bat last week, and it appears he's still not feeling quite right. Although there has been no information on his possible return date, it sounds like the backstop will need more than the minimum seven days before he is ready to return to action. In the meantime, Juan Centeno will help Brian McCann with catching duties until Gattis is able to return.

Gattis was placed on the 7-day concussion DL on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
This was little more than a formality after Gattis was diagnosed with a concussion Friday. He was hit in the head by a bat during Thursday's game. The Astros have not yet given any indication as to how long they expect to be without Gattis, but Juan Centeno was brought up and will help Brian McCann with catching duties in the meantime.

Gattis was hit in the head by a bat during Thursday's game, but was allowed to finish the game. Expect the Astros to put Gattis on the 7-day disabled list before Saturday's game, but an official move has not yet been made. Gattis is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Rays, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gattis was able to keep his power surge going with a double in Tuesday's game, but it won't be enough to keep him in the lineup for a fourth consecutive game. Though Carlos Beltran will handle DH duties Wednesday, Gattis' hot hitting since late June has prompted manager A.J. Hinch to give Gattis more opportunities. Beltran, who is hitting .333 since the All-Star break but has struggled to a .243/.296/.421 line this season, may need to keep sizzling at the plate in order to prevent Gattis from encroaching further on his role.

Gattis went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer Saturday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Gattis' 11th bomb of the year gave the Astros a two-run lead in the first inning of a game they'd go on to lose. Although he's not in the Astros' lineup every day, his .287/.341/.507 slash line makes him an outstanding option at catcher in almost every fantasy format.

Gattis is out of the lineup Monday against the Phillies, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The long-term injury to Carlos Correa (thumb) has opened up more starting opportunities for Gattis lately while manager A.J. Hinch shuffles up his lineup, but with the no DH spot available for the three-game series in Philadelphia, Gattis may find himself on the bench a little more frequently this week. Gattis is hitting .341 with five home runs in July, providing the Astros with a valuable power source in the heart of the order when he's started.

Gattis will start at designated hitter and man the cleanup spot Sunday against the Orioles, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Astros' offense performing solidly from top to bottom throughout the season, Gattis has had to settle for a part-time role, but his recent performance could convince manager A.J. Hinch to create room for him in the lineup more regularly. Gattis will pick up his fourth start in five games Sunday after logging six hits -- including a pair of home runs -- in 12 at-bats over his previous three appearances.

Gattis went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
The two bombs gives Gattis 10 home runs over just 200 at-bats. He's just a part-timer on this potent Astros offense, but for those in daily transactions leagues, Gattis can be a weapon. He's homered in five of his last seven starts and six of his last 10.

Gattis went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer, a walk, two runs and two RBI Friday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Gattis blasted his seventh bomb of 2017 to extend the Astros lead in a blowout victory. Despite playing in a part-time role which makes him difficult to use in weekly fantasy lineups, he's been an excellent option in daily leagues, as he's slashing .281/.340/.476, which is a solid line for a catcher.
