Gattis drove in a pair on an RBI double during Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Blue Jays. It was his only hit of the game in five at-bats. Gattis, who moved up to the three-hole in the Astros' lineup Sunday with Preston Tucker sitting, is hitting .234/.264/.478 with 12 home runs and 38 RBI over 205 at-bats this season.

Gattis went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 6-4 win over Baltimore. The Astros' DH hit his 12th homer of the season in the third inning off Orioles starter Mike Wright. Over the last 14 days, Gattis is 20-for-55 (.364) with four doubles, two triples, five home runs and 15 RBI.

Gattis went 3-for-4 with a double, home run, two RBI and two runs scored during Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Orioles. Gattis is hitting .264 with nine home runs and 29 RBI over his last 30 games after opening his 2015 campaign with one home run and one RBI through his first 15 games for the Astros.

Gattis hit his eighth home run of the season -- a two-run shot in the sixth inning off Jesse Hahn -- during the Astros' 6-1 win over the A's on Wednesday. Gattis is 6-for-22 (.273) with two home runs and six RBI over the last week, but he's yet to raise his batting average (.196) over the Mendoza line.

Gattis went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the 6-5 win over Toronto on Saturday night. Gattis is still batting below the Mendoza line, but has provided the pop you'd expect, hitting seven homers in 34 games.

Gattis is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against Toronto. After serving as the DH for each of the last two games, Gattis will cede the spot to Preston Tucker on Thursday. Tucker will bat eighth against Toronto starter Drew Hutchison.

Gattis is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels. Just as he appeared to be turning a corner, an 0-for-11 stretch at the plate has depressed Gattis' batting average to .185. He's only drawn four walks this season to keep his on-base percentage at a similarly paltry .212, making it increasingly difficult for the Astros to trust him as a regular lineup option. Manager A.J. Hinch will shield Gattis on Sunday from a tough right-hander in Garrett Richards, allowing Preston Tucker to slot in as the Astros' designated hitter.

Gattis accounted for the Astros' only run Monday night in a 2-1 loss to the Rangers. Gattis hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first inning to drive home Jose Altuve and he doubled later in the game for his only hit of the night in three at-bats. After a brutal start to his 2015 campaign, the Astros' DH has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games with a whopping 17 RBI over that span.

Gattis went 2-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored during Sunday's 7-6 win over Seattle. Gattis hit a three-run shot in the first inning off Mariners' starter J.A. Happ before hitting a go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning off reliever Carson Smith. He now has six home runs this season after going hitless in his first 23 at-bats of 2015.

Gattis isn't in Wednesday's lineup against the Padres. Gattis will take a seat Wednesday without a DH being available for the club. He's coming off his second home run of the season Tuesday, and he should return to the lineup Thursday against the Mariners.
