The Nationals optioned Fedde to Triple-A Fresno on Monday, Byron Kerr of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Due to a doubleheader last week, the Nationals required a temporary sixth starter in Austin Voth, who took advantage of the opportunity Sunday by delivering six strong innings and striking out seven in a no-decision. The performance was good enough for Voth to earn another turn at the expense of Fedde, who supplied a serviceable 3.94 ERA but an ugly 1.52 WHIP and 15:15 K:BB in 29.2 innings in his six starts since joining the rotation in late May. Fedde is expected to continue working as a full-time rotation member for Fresno and should rank as one of the Nats' top options for a callup if a spot starter or long reliever is needed at any point later in the season.

Fedde allowed two earned runs on five hits and five walks while striking out one across 3.2 innings Thursday against the Phillies. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde wasn't hit particularly hard -- he didn't allow any extra-base hits -- but walked at least one batter in each of the first three innings. He managed to throw just 43 of his 84 pitches for strikes and began only 11 of the 20 batters he faced with a strike. That resulted in the short outing, the second time he's failed to work five innings in his last six starts. Fedde has a 3.79 ERA, but an unimpressive 22:19 K:BB through 40.1 innings.

Fedde will start Thursday's series finale against the Phillies, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde originally lined up to start Tuesday but consecutive postponements and Wednesday's subsequent doubleheader threw a wrench in the Nationals' rotation plans. The 26-year-old has a 3.81 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 14:10 K:BB in five starts for the Nationals this year.

Fedde (1-1) allowed five earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out one across six innings to take the loss Thursday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde's outing was ultimately derailed by two home runs, which accounted for three of his five earned runs. He managed to work fairly deep into the game despite his struggles, needing only 81 pitches to record 18 outs. Fedde has managed to prevent runs fairly effectively in five starts this season, allowing 11 baserunners to cross the plate across 26 innings. He'll look to bounce back from this effort in his next outing, currently scheduled for Tuesday against Philadelphia.

Fedde pitched six innings in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Nationals, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out five in the no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde was on the hook for the loss before the Nationals rallied in the seventh inning to tie the game. The right hander has done well in four starts this season, allowing six runs over 20 innings. Overall, he's appeared in nine games with a 2.93 ERA and 1.21 WHIP through 30.2 innings pitched. Fedde is next expected to face the Phillies on June 17, as the Nationals have an off-day Wednesday and may not need to use a five-man rotation.

Fedde allowed two runs on six hits and three walks in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Reds. He struck out three but did not qualify for the victory.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the consistent traffic on the bases, opposing pitcher Tanner Roark was the only Red to come through with any RBI Saturday. Fedde did well to limit the damage, but couldn't get through the fifth inning to qualify for his second straight win. The 26-year-old has a 2.55 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 15:11 K:BB through 24.2 innings, and should take the mound next weekend at San Diego.

Fedde (1-0) surrendered four hits and three walks while striking out four over five scoreless innings Sunday in a win against Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde was impressive through the first five innings of the series finale, hurling 51 of 83 pitches for strikes. The right-hander owns a 2.18 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with a 12:8 K:BB over 20.2 innings this season and appears likely to remain in the rotation for at least one more turn while Anibal Sanchez (hamstring) continues to rehab.

Fedde allowed one earned run on four hits and a walk while striking out one across five innings Tuesday against the Mets. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde wasn't particularly impressive from a deception standpoint, generating only nine called strikes and four swinging strikes. On the other hand, he limited the Mets to just one extra-base hit and allowed only one free pass. The 26-year-old has appeared largely as a long-reliever this season and posted a 1.02 WHIP and 2.87 ERA across 15.2 innings despite striking out just eight. However, Fedde likely continue in a starter role so long as Anibal Sanchez (hamstring) is out, with his next outing currently scheduled for Sunday against Miami.

Fedde will move into the rotation while Anibal Sanchez is out with a hamstring injury, Brittany Ghiroli of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Sanchez on the injured list, Fedde will get the opportunity to make at least one start. It's not clear how much time Sanchez is expected to miss, so Fedde could wind up making just one start or several. Fedde's 3.38 ERA in 10.2 innings is far better than Sanchez's 5.10 mark, but the sample size is quite small.

Fedde entered Thursday's win over the Mets in the second inning after Anibal Sanchez (hamstring) was forced to exit, giving up four runs on four hits over 2.2 innings while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old right-hander checked in with a 4-0 lead but promptly squandered it, allowing a four-spot to the Mets in the third that was highlighted by Michael Conforto's three-run blast. Fedde is one of the favorites to replace Sanchez in the rotation while the veteran is on the IL, but Thursday's appearance was his longest so far in May, and he'll need time to get stretched out before being able to handle a full workload. Fedde does have a 3.38 ERA and 1.03 WHIP through 10.1 big-league innings this year, but his 7:4 K:BB over that stretch is mediocre.
