Although Fedde fell just short of picking up a quality start Friday, he picked up his first win since May 25 against the struggling Brewers. The righty gave up 10 runs in six innings over his last two starts but was slightly more effective Friday while getting plenty of run support from Washington's offense. Fedde has posted a 4.87 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 57.1 innings over 12 starts this season, and he tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against Atlanta on Wednesday.

Fedde didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 10-8 win over the Reds, giving up four runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out one.

EDGE Analysis

After getting tagged for two runs in the bottom of the first inning, Fedde seemed to steady the ship until running into trouble again in the fifth, sparking a five-run rally by Cincinnati. The right-hander has failed to complete five innings in three of his last five starts, leaving him with a 4.88 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 43:25 K:BB through 51.2 frames on the season.

Fedde (3-4) took the loss Monday as the Nationals were trounced 13-5 by the Mets, coughing up six runs on eight hits and a walk over only 1.1 innings. He failed to strike out a batter.

EDGE Analysis

The right-hander needed 52 pitches (35 strikes) to record four outs, and Fedde got the hook after giving up three straight hits in the second inning, including a Starling Marte homer. The brutal outing tacked more than a full run onto Fedde's ERA, which now stands at 4.60 to go along with a 1.53 WHIP and 42:23 K:BB through 47 innings.

Fedde (3-3) picked up the win in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over the Dodgers, scattering four hits and a walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.

EDGE Analysis

The Dodgers didn't get a runner past second base against the right-hander as they were shut out for the first time this season. Fedde tossed 58 of 90 pitches for strikes in his second quality start of the year, and he'll carry a 3.55 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 42:22 K:BB through 45.2 innings into his next outing.

Fedde (2-3) allowed two runs on four hits and three walks over 5.2 innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against Milwaukee.

EDGE Analysis

Fedde looked dominant for most of Friday's start, allowing just two hits and two walks through five shutout frames. He then served up a two-run homer to Rowdy Tellez in the sixth to break the scoreless tie and eventually be handed a tough-luck loss. He's registered a 2.73 ERA over his last five starts, lowering his season number to 4.08. Fedde is projected to face the Dodgers at home next week.

Fedde struck out four in five scoreless innings, walking five and allowing two hits in a 5-4 loss Sunday against the Angels.

EDGE Analysis

Fedde was effectively wild on Sunday, throwing only 53 of 97 pitches for strikes but holding the Angels scoreless. He has allowed two runs or less in five of his six starts and has allowed only one run over his last 12 innings. With a 3.90 ERA, he is putting up the best numbers of his career. However, there are reasons for concern, most notably a 1.43 WHIP and walking 4.5 batters per nine innings.

Fedde (2-2) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one run on six hits and two walks over seven innings in a 10-2 victory over the Rockies. He struck out three.

EDGE Analysis

The right-hander was able to keep Colorado's bats in check even at Coors Field, as Fedde gave up only one extra-base hit during his longest outing of the season so far -- a seventh-inning double by Sam Hilliard. The quality start was Fedde's first of 2022, and he'll carry a 4.68 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB through 25 innings into his next appearance.

Fedde (1-2) took the loss Wednesday, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings as the Nationals were downed 2-1 by the Marlins. He struck out five.

EDGE Analysis

It wasn't the most efficient performance, as the right-hander threw only 55 of 91 pitches for strikes before exiting, but he didn't get much help from either his offense or his bullpen -- Andres Machado relieved him and walked the first two batters he faced to bring in the winning run, which got charged to Fedde. He's allowed only two runs in three of his four starts this season, and while Fedde's 6.00 ERA and 1.56 WHIP through 18 innings aren't pretty, his 4.47 FIP and career-best 23.5 percent strikeout rate at least suggest some improvement should be ahead.

Fedde (1-1) took the loss Wednesday as the Nationals were routed 11-2 by the Diamondbacks, coughing up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and a walk over 3.1 innings. He struck out three.

EDGE Analysis

The Arizona offense was overdue for some positive regression, and Fedde found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time as the Diamondbacks erupted. The right-hander tossed 55 of 80 pitches for strikes before getting the hook after allowing three straight hits in the fourth inning, including a two-run shot by Daulton Varsho. Fedde still has a strong 14:5 K:BB through 13.1 innings over his first three starts, but his 6.75 ERA and 1.65 WHIP make him a risky fantasy option.

Fedde (1-0) collected the win Friday in a 7-2 victory over the Pirates, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out six.

EDGE Analysis

The right-hander needed 96 pitches (59 strikes) to get through the minimum five frames to qualify for a win, but that was about the only suspense on a night the Nationals never trailed. Fedde has had a solid start to the season, posting a 3.60 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 11:4 K:BB through his first 10 innings, and he gets another favorable matchup in his next scheduled start Tuesday, at home against the Diamondbacks.
