Fedde (3-10) took the loss Tuesday, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk over three innings against the Rockies. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander had a chance to bounce back against a struggling Rockies lineup but was instead tagged for damage, including home runs by Mickey Moniak and Ryan McMahon. Fedde is in the middle of a rough stretch, going 0-5 with a 9.64 ERA and 2.04 WHIP over 28 innings across seven starts since June 13. While he could still be a buy-low option for a contender at the trade deadline, his recent struggles have significantly diminished his potential trade value.

Fedde allowed three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out one batter over 4.2 innings in a no-decision against Atlanta on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde struggled from the outset, serving up two solo homers and three total runs over the first two innings. He settled down a bit thereafter but couldn't complete five frames, as he was pulled with two runners on base and two outs in the fourth. Fedde has struggled mightily over his past four starts, giving up 20 runs and surrendering six long balls over 14.2 innings during that stretch. The Cardinals were said to be considering removing the right-hander from the rotation in favor of Michael McGreevy following his previous start, and Fedde's tepid performance Sunday could give St. Louis further reason to move in that direction.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Thursday that Fedde will start Saturday's game against Atlanta, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals mulled replacing Fedde in the rotation with Michael McGreevy, but they've decided to give the former at least one more start. Fedde has been pummeled for 17 earned runs with a 2:9 K:BB over 10 innings covering his last three starts and will be on a short leash moving forward.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said that Fedde is tentatively scheduled to start Saturday versus Atlanta, but the team is "still working through conversations" regarding Fedde's spot in the rotation, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde has been torched for 17 earned runs with a 2:9 K:BB over 10 innings covering his last three starts, and the Cardinals are considering replacing him in the rotation with Michael McGreevy. A decision regarding who will slot in Saturday against Atlanta should be announced within the next few days.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol was noncommittal when asked Sunday whether Fedde would make his next start, which is tentatively set for Saturday versus Atlanta, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. "I think we have to use [Monday] as a day we take a step back and figure out what that looks like," Marmol said, regarding his plans for the rotation.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde was charged with three earned runs on two hits and four walks while recording only four outs in Sunday's loss to the Cubs. He's been clobbered for 17 earned runs with a 2:9 K:BB over 10 innings covering his last three starts. Michael McGreevy started Sunday at Triple-A Memphis and would likely be the replacement in the rotation for Fedde if the Cardinals decide to make a change.

Fedde (3-9) allowed three runs on two hits and four walks while failing to record a strikeout over 1.1 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde needed 53 pitches (26 strikes) to get the four outs. After giving up seven runs in each of his last two outings, it looks like Fedde was on a short leash for this one. He's also walked nine batters over his last 10 innings, and his BB/9 on the year is at 4.3 through 18 starts. Fedde will have trouble getting things back on track if he continues to issue such a high number of free passes. He's added a 4.79 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 57:45 K:BB across 94 innings this season. He's tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus Atlanta.

Fedde (3-8) took the loss Monday at Pittsburgh, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and three walks over five innings with no strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde conceded a leadoff homer to Spencer Horwitz in the first, and it was all downhill from there. The Pirates lineup peppered the St. Louis right-hander for 10 hits, matching Fedde's season-worst mark achieved when he also allowed seven runs against Milwaukee on April 27. With this disaster, the 32-year-old coughed up seven earned runs for the second consecutive start, as he failed to tally a K for the first time this season. Fedde is slated to carry a 4.56 ERA through 92.2 total innings into a difficult road matchup against the Cubs this weekend.

Fedde (3-7) was saddled with the loss Wednesday against the Cubs, giving up seven runs on eight hits and two walks in 3.2 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
It was the second-shortest outing of the season for Fedde, who tied his season worst in runs allowed. The 32-year-old right-hander served up a season-high three home runs, and the eight hits against him were also his most allowed since his sixth start of the year back on April 27. Fedde will take a pedestrian 4.11 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 57:38 K:BB over 87.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Pirates, who do have MLB's lowest OPS (.636) since the beginning of May.

Fedde did not factor into the decision in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the White Sox, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde opened with three scoreless innings below allowing two runs over the fourth and fifth, one of which was the result of a two-out error. The 32-year-old has now yielded three earned runs or fewer in five straight outings, though he's gone deep enough to earn a quality start just once during that stretch. He'll carry a 3.54 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 55:36 K:BB across 84 innings into a home matchup with the Cubs next week.

Fedde (3-6) took the loss Friday as the Cardinals fell 3-2 to the Brewers, giving up three runs on four hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
It was a solid performance from the right-hander, who tossed 55 of 86 pitches for strikes before exiting the game, but a lack of run support extended Fedde's winless streak to six starts. During that stretch, he's posted a more-than-respectable 3.34 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 22:13 K:BB over 32.1 innings. Fedde's odds of ending that drought seem good in his next outing, however, as he lines up for a road start next week against the White Sox.
