Gregorius went 2-for-3 with a double in Monday's loss to the Marlins. Gregorius accounted for two of the club's three hits on the night, though one of them rolled by the first basemen and could have been ruled an error. The shortstop has been hitting well in June, going 11-for-37 (.297), but with just a .236/.291/.313 line on the season, the now-healthy Brendan Ryan could take away some playing time.

Gregorius is out of the lineup Tuesday, the YES Network's Meredith Marakovits reports. He hasn't done much of anything at the plate all season and has been a well-below average fantasy option, even at a weak position like shortstop. Stephen Drew will slide over to play shortstop Tuesday and Brendan Ryan will rejoin the big league club in short order so Gregorius could soon see his playing time take a significant dip.

Gregorius launched a three-run home run -- his first of the season -- in Friday's loss to the Rangers. Gregorius isn't an especially big power threat, as the homer was just the 14th of his career, but any sort of production is encouraging after struggling through much of the season's opening two months. They lefty sports a slash line of just .182/.308/.182 against southpaws, so until he can improve upon that, he remains at risk to occupy somewhat of a platoon at shortstop.

Gregorius is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Nationals, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports. Gregorius is still struggling at the plate as his average barely hovers above the Mendoza Line as he sports a slash line of .204/.269/.241. He'll take a seat Tuesday against southpaw Gio Gonzalez while Stephen Drew will slide over to shortstop and Jose Pirela will receive the starting nod at second base.

Gregorius is out of the lineup Saturday against Kansas City. Gregorius' struggles at the plate continued Friday with his second straight hitless game. Stephen Drew, who is batting .286 with one home run against left handers this season, will take Gregorius' place in the lineup against Kansas City's Danny Duffy.

Gregorius went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Orioles. It was another good day at the plate for Gregorius -- though he did get tagged out reaching for third after his double -- as he's now 7-for-26 (.269) since the start of May. His season slash line sits at just .225/.286/.258 and the recent activation of Jose Pirela could pose a threat to his playing time, but Gregorius has turned it around a little bit after a slow start.

Gregorius is not in the lineup Saturday against the Orioles. Gregorius will head to the bench for the second time in four games, as Stephen Drew moves over to short and Jose Pirela mans the keystone. The 25-year-old Gregorius has recorded multiple hits in just one of his 26 games (25 starts) this season, resulting in a dismal .209/.266/.233 batting line in 95 plate appearances.

Gregorius is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays, Meredith Marakovits of the YES Network reports. While not in an official platoon, Gregorius has gotten regular days off against left-handed pitching, and that will happen again Wednesday as the Yankees draw southpaw Mark Buerhle. Stephen Drew will slide over to shortstop, while Jose Pirela will make his season debut and start at second.

Gregorius went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's win over the Red Sox. Gregorius sports a slash line of just .212/.274/.242, but he's been swinging the bat better of late as he's collected a hit in five of his last six games. He receives regular days off as part of an unofficial middle infield platoon, so he'll have to prove he can hit lefties better -- he's slashing .133/.278/.133 against southpaws this season -- to stay in the lineup with more regularity.

Gregorius isn't in the lineup Sunday against the Mets. Gregorius will receive a night off with a southpaw in Jon Niese toeing the rubber for the Mets. He remains the everyday shortstop for the Yankees, but it's been a bit of a struggle for him at the plate to begin the season.
