Gregorius is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Joe Girardi said Monday that Gregorius is "really beat up," so it's no surprise to see the shortstop get a second consecutive day off. Gregorius, who's sat just three times since the All-Star break, could return to the lineup Wednesday, but the Yankees appear to be handling him on a day-to-day basis.

Gregorius is "really beat up," according to manager Joe Girardi, and is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers, Sweeny Murti of WFAN reports.

Gregorius (arm) is back in the lineup Monday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius was held out of Sunday's series finale against Baltimore due to soreness in his arm, but the ailment doesn't look to be anything concerning. The shortstop will start at his usual spot in the infield and bat fifth in the order against Toronto's R.A. Dickey.

Updating a previous report, Gregorius was held out of Sunday's lineup against the Orioles due to a sore arm, according to Chad Jennings of The Journal News reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was believed Yankees manager Joe Girardi was holding Gregorius out Sunday for rest, but the shortstop apparently has been nursing a minor injury and will be given the day off to recover from the ailment. It doesn't seem to be anything that will sideline him for long; in fact, Gregorius could be back in the lineup as soon as Monday against the Blue Jays.

Gregorius went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays.

The 26-year-old shortstop has taken his offense to a whole new level with career highs in home runs (16) and slugging percentage (.468). Even rain couldn't slow his roll in this one, as Gregorius managed to drive in a run on either side of a 44-minute delay.

Gregorius went 2-for-5 with a homer and a pair of runs scored in the Yankees' come-from-behind, 9-4 victory over the Red Sox on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The blast was Gregorius' 14th of the year, and brought his batting average up to .286. Gregorius had been in somewhat of a slump of late, hitting just .193/.203/.351 in his last 15 games entering Wednesday. Gregorius' power has blossomed this season, his 14 home runs already a career high. In fact, he had never hit double-digit homers once in his career prior to 2016, including in the minor leagues. The future looks bright for the 26-year-old shortstop, who figures to be a key figure in New York for years to come.

Gregorius is not in the Yankees starting lineup on Friday, Chad Jennings of LoHud.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This looks to be just a routine day off for Gregorius, who is hitting .231 with six RBI in his past 10 games. He should be back in the lineup on Saturday as the Yankees host Corey Kluber and the Indians. On the season, Gregorius is hitting .271 with 10 home runs and 31 RBI in 273 at-bats against right-handed pitching.

Gregorius hit his 12th home run of the season Tuesday in a 7-1 loss at the hands of the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius's blast came in the ninth inning with the game pretty much over, the Yankees trailing 7-0. The young shortstop has excelled in his second full season with the Yankees, posting a solid .290/.318/.453 triple slash line. While the Yankees were dealers at the trade deadline, Gregorius is one of the pieces New York is looking to build around for the future. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, he'll have to play the rest of the season without Carlos Beltran bolstering the Yankees lineup.
