Dee Gordon worked out at second base and in the outfield prior to Tuesday's game. He could see some playing time at the positions down the stretch, though it would only be in a bit role. "There's a possibility as the season goes on that we would see him somewhere other than short," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. "I think we could see him play somewhere different."

Dodgers optioned SS Dee Gordon to Triple-A Albuquerque. Gordon picked up five hits in 14 at-bats in his most recent stint with the Dodgers, but they don't need him anymore with Hanley Ramirez healthy again. He'll be back next month when rosters expand.

Dodgers recalled INF Dee Gordon from Triple-A Albuquerque. Gordon will provide some insurance at shortstop with Hanley Ramirez (shoulder) headed for an MRI. The speedy 25-year-old hit just .175/.278/.254 in 19 games with the Dodgers earlier this year.

Dodgers optioned SS Dee Gordon to Triple-A Albuquerque. Gordon was called up from the minors earlier this month after Hanley Ramirez went down with a hamstring injury, but he did little with the opportunity, batting just .175/.278/.254 in 19 games. Ramirez's return is right around the corner, so Gordon may struggle to get another chance in the near future.

Dee Gordon is not in the Dodgers' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers. The slumping shortstop will sit in favor of Nick Punto. Gordon is batting just .167 since his promotion from Triple-A Albuquerque and is hitless over his last seven games.

Dee Gordon went 0-for-4 and committed his second error at shortstop on Monday. It might not have been a good thing that Gordon homered twice in his first week back in the majors; he's gone just 2-for-25 since his second bomb on May 11. Gordon has terrific fantasy upside with his speed, but he needs to do much better than this if he hopes to push Hanley Ramirez to third base.

Dee Gordon took the Marlins' Kevin Slowey deep for his second big-league homer Saturday. Gordon now has as many homers as Matt Kemp this season. So that's something. He's made a nice impression in seven games so far, and the Dodgers have to be thinking about pushing Hanley Ramirez back to third base when he returns next month.

Dee Gordon went 2-for-4 with a two-run triple and two steals Saturday against the Giants. The Dodgers' ideal lineup on Opening Day would have been Gordon at shortstop and Hanley Ramirez at third base. Ideally, Gordon will continue to impress while Ramirez is out and the Dodgers will push Ramirez over when he returns. Gordon's speed could give him value in even the shallowest of leagues if he plays regularly.

Dodgers recalled SS Dee Gordon from Triple-A Albuquerque. Gordon is taking the roster spot left vacant by the injured Hanley Ramirez. Gordon hasn't handled hitting at the major league level well in the past. He's got speed to burn, but as they say, you can't steal first. Ignore him in most fantasy formats until he proves he's able to get on base at a somewhat-regular clip.
