David Wright homered Monday as the Mets edged the Braves 4-3 in 11 innings. Wright's homer came in the third. The winning run scored in the 11th when Ruben Tejada singled in Juan Lagares. Wright's homer was his first since June 19 and just his seventh this season. It was a solo shot, and he still hasn't had a multi-RBI game since June 2.

David Wright (shoulder) is in the Mets starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers. Wright returns after missing seven consecutive games due to a bruised rotator cuff on his right shoulder. Eric Campbell, who handled the bulk of the playing time in his absence, will return to a reserve role.

David Wright has been diagnosed with a bruised right rotator cuff. Wright will be reexamined on Monday and a disabled list stint is unlikely. He is batting with a line of .277/.333/.396 including six home runs and 41 RBI on the season.

David Wright has flown back to New York to undergo an MRI on his left shoulder. Wright has apparently been dealing with the injury for the past three weeks. He'll undergo the MRI on Saturday in New York, so he doesn't figure to be able to get back to Pittsburgh and in the lineup until Sunday, at the earliest. Obviously, a lot will depend on what the MRI says. Eric Campbell is at third base Friday.

David Wright went 2-for-4 with an RBI single Friday against the Marlins. Wright now owns a modest five-game hitting streak and is 7-for-17 with four extra-base hits (including two home runs) during that span. It's taken a while, but it looks like he's finally busting out of his slump.

David Wright went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Marlins. Wright provided the only offense Zack Wheeler would need, homering off of rookie Andrew Heaney in the first inning. Power has been tough to come by for the third baseman, as he is slashing a meager .266/.328/.377 with six home runs and 36 RBI on the season. His OPS had fallen below .700 entering the contest.

David Wright will not be in the Mets' lineup Sunday. It's Wright's first day off this season, and it comes after he went 1-for-5 and committed a crucial error in Saturday's contest. Eric Campbell will be at the hot corner Sunday.

David Wright went 2-for-4 with a two-run double, a walk, and two runs scored in Monday's win over the Phillies. With the two-hit night, Wright now leads the National League with 92 hits. While that's all well and good, he's currently on pace for just 11 home runs and nine stolen bases, which isn't what fantasy owners signed up for. We still expect him to pick things up.
