Wright (back) will resume baseball activities Monday, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. It was the same story for Wright just a week ago, but additional pain in his back flared up, pushing his return to baseball activities another week ahead. It will be difficult to determine an accurate timetable until the fact that he's actually hitting and baserunning has been documented, so look for Eric Campbell and Ruben Tejada to continue to see extra playing time in the short term.

Wright (hamstring/back) may be cleared to resume baseball activities Monday, ESPN New York's Kieran Darcy reports. Wright's return date has become a shifting line in the sand, constantly moved back. Assuming he can resume activities Monday and has no further setbacks, it's possible he could be back in the lineup in the beginning of June.

Wright (back) did not return to baseball activities Tuesday, and the pain in his lower back is turning out to be a bigger deal than originally expected, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. After expecting to be able to return to baseball activities on Tuesday, it's been decided that Wright is still not ready to make a return as he continues to get therapy on his back. Team doctors have determined that Wright does not have a repeat of the stress fracture he suffered from that kept him out for two months in 2011, but there still is no real timetable on when Wright will be set to return.

Wright (back) did not return to baseball activities Monday, as originally expected, but he is expected to do so Tuesday, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Wright only received treatment on his back Monday, and the hope is now that he'll be able to ramp up his activity Tuesday. Assuming everything goes smoothly, Wright could begin a rehab assignment as early as later this week.

Wright (hamstring/back) has completed his course of anti-inflammatory medicine and will resume baseball activities Monday, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Wright looked to be ready to begin a rehab stint when he experienced lower-back pain, requiring the anti-inflammatory medicine. His hamstring, which sidelined him initially, is believed to be healed. As long as he has no setbacks from either the hamstring or back, Wright should start a rehab assignment sometime later this week and possibly be back with the team next week.

Wright (hamstring/back) is expected to resume baseball activities Monday, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports. Wright's hamstring had been coming along well, but he's now dealing with pain in his lower back. The Mets are only expecting it to be a minor setback, as an MRI on Wright's back did not reveal any structural damage. The third baseman is likely now hoping to rejoin his teammates in mid-to-late May.

Wright (hamstring) is experiencing lower-back pain and has been shut down from all baseball activities. An MRI on his back did not show any structural damage and his hamstring injury is doing well, so this could be a brief halt in his rehab. Unfortunately we just don't know much about the back issue, so we can only speculate as to how much longer he will be out. The Mets say he will resume baseball activities once his back discomfort subsides. He should be considered out indefinitely and Dilson Herrera should be added in most formats if he is available.

Mets manager Terry Collins said that Wright (hamstring) had his best day of rehab to date Tuesday. Although Collins didn't offer up much in terms of the plan for Wright, he did say that the third baseman is moving in the right direction. An ESPN New York report from earlier Tuesday suggested Wright will return no sooner than the middle of next week, with activation for the May 15-17 series against Milwaukee a more likely scenario.

Wright (hamstring) won't rejoin the Mets any sooner than the middle of next week, and he's more likely to return for a weekend series against the Brewers, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports. The more optimistic scenario has Wright returning Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday in Chicago, while the more realistic scenario has him back for next weekend's home series against the Brewers. Either way, it sounds as if the projected return date of May 8-10 is all but out of the question.

Wright's (hamstring) absence may extend beyond the projected May 8-10 return date, ESPN New York reports. Wright was first sidelined on April 15 and was expected to miss three weeks. He still feels the hamstring when running and is working on strengthening the muscle rather than baseball activities. Wright could be out to mid-May and maybe later, until the hamstring responds quickly.
