Wright singed a minor-league deal with the Reds, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old righty will return to the organization that drafted him in the 10th round in 2013. He notched a 4.58 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 11 strikeouts in 19.2 innings in the big leagues with the Angels last season. His 6.99 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 92.2 innings at Triple-A were even less impressive. He will likely spend most, if not all of 2018 at Triple-A.

Wright passed through waivers unclaimed and will remain with Triple-A Salt Lake.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was designated for assignment by the Angels on Monday in order to free up a 40-man roster spot for Dayan Diaz. The right-hander hasn't pitched in the big leagues since June 15, and has posted a 7.14 ERA over 63 innings with Salt Lake during the past two months with the club. Although the Bees' season has already concluded, Wright will remain on their roster and stay within the organization for the rest of the season.

Wright was designated for assignment by the Angels on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was dropped from the 40-man roster to open up a spot for Dayan Diaz, who was recently claimed off waivers from the Astros. The 26-year-old righty struggled between Triple-A Salt Lake and the big-leagues this season, compiling a 6.99 ERA and 61:35 K:BB in 92.2 innings (18 starts) with the Bees while posting a similarly unimpressive 4.98 ERA and 11:8 K:BB in 19.2 innings for the Angels. He'll head to waivers to determine his next destination.

Wright was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday, Maria Guardado of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was indeed another short stay for Wright, who has bounced back and forth between the minors and majors six times already this season. He was sent down to clear a spot for Saturday's starter, Tyler Skaggs, but Wright figures to be on the short list of candidates for recall the next time the Angels need a fresh arm.

Wright was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
He will join the big club for the sixth time this season, replacing outfielder Ramon Flores on the active roster. Wright made just one appearance in each of his previous five stints, and it could be another short stay, as the team will need to clear room on both the 40-man and active rosters for Tyler Skaggs (oblique) on Saturday.

Wright was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright tossed 2.1 innings of shutout baseball Thursday against the Royals, but he'll head back to Salt Lake to make room for Parker Bridwell's fresher arm. He should continue to shuttle between the minors and majors whenever the Angels need some extra length out of the bullpen.

Wright's contract was purchased from Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels' relief pitching carousel continues to roll along, with Wright coming back to the big leagues to act as the team's long reliever for the time being. He replaced Parker Bridwell after he threw 3.2 innings in Wednesday's bout, and it seems like Wright will follow a similar path if the trend continues.

Wright cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was designated for assignment earlier in the week, and with no team willing to give him a 40-man spot, the 26-year-old is set to stick around with the Angels as organizational depth. He has struggled in parts of two seasons in the majors and his numbers at the Triple-A level are even worse (6.73 ERA, 1.61 WHIP).

Wright was designated for assignment by the Angels on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was bumped from the 40-man roster to clear room for Shane Robinson, was was added to provide outfield depth with Mike Trout (thumb) and Cameron Maybin (side) both on the shelf. The 26-year-old posted a 5.19 ERA across 17.1 innings with the Angels this season, but his 9.00 ERA though 22 innings with Triple-A was likely the reason the Angels decided to cut ties with him. He should serve as organizational depth wherever he ends up.

Wright was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake City on Saturday, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels activated fellow pitcher Michael Morin in a corresponding move Saturday. Wright lasted just 4.0 innings in his most recent outing, allowing five earned runs on eight hits against the Mariners. He'll head back to Salt Lake City and could be a rotation option later in the season if the Angels incur an injury to the rotation.
