Wright (0-1) allowed four runs -- two earned -- on six hits and a walk while striking out four batters through 4.1 innings during Thursday's loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to make this start after posting a 9.35 ERA over four outings in the minors. He held his own Thursday, but the Angels would probably prefer to utilize him as a long reliever if possible. It's likely best to take a wait-and-see approach with Wright in all fantasy formats. If he sticks through another turn of the rotation, he lines up for a home start against Atlanta next.

Wright will be recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to start Thursday against the Rays, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
He takes the spot of regular starter Alex Meyer, who was placed on the disabled list Wednesday with back spasms. Wright compiled a 5.54 ERA over 13 innings while being used as a long reliever for the Angles earlier this season, including an exceptional spot start against the Blue Jays in which he allowed just three hits over five shutout innings. Nonetheless, the right-hander has compiled an ugly 9.35 ERA over four minor-league starts this season and his spot on the big league roster may only be a temporary one, so temper any expectations right off the bat.

Wright was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
He gave up five earned runs on eight hits and a walk on Thursday, and was subsequently demoted to Triple-A. Keynan Middleton was recalled from Triple-A to take his place in the bullpen.

Wright will not start Thursday against the Mariners, Pedro Moura of The Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
It had been previously reported that Wright would take Tyler Skaggs' (oblique) rotation spot, and it had seemed likely since his promotion last week. However, the Angels have opted to go with Alex Meyer. For the immediate future, it looks like Wright will remain on the back burner in the bullpen.

Wright is expected to start Thursday's game against the Mariners, Jeffrey Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
When Wright was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake over the weekend, it was expected that he'd work in long relief, but that plan went out the window after it was revealed Tuesday that Tyler Skaggs suffered a Grade 2 right oblique strain that would sideline him for the next 10-to-12 weeks. Wright, who impressed in a April 23 start against the Blue Jays in which he tossed five shutout innings, will get the first crack at replacing Skaggs in the rotation, but the Angels could explore other options at Triple-A if the 26-year-old reverts to the underwhelming form he's shown through most of his time in the majors. Over 48.2 career innings in the big leagues with the Reds and Angels, Wright owns a 5.55 ERA (5.11 FIP) and has collected just 24 strikeouts.

Wright was called up from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
He has logged a 10.80 ERA, 1.80 WHIP and just two strikeouts in 8.1 innings as a starter at Triple-A. With Tyler Skaggs (oblique) likely headed to the DL, it's possible Wright could join the rotation, but he would be a player to avoid in the majority of fantasy formats.

Wright was sent down to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright performed admirably in a spot start Sunday against Toronto, as he fired five shutout innings in a no-decision. His services were only required because of an extra inning game on Saturday, though, so he was sent down in favor of newly acquired reliever David Hernandez. Given Wright's solid showing, though, expect him to be first in line for any spot starts the Angels need in the future.

Wright tossed five shutout innings against the Blue Jays on Sunday, but was saddled with a no-decision. He walked two and struck out three in a 6-2 loss.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old was called up from Triple-A Salt Lake to make a spot start for the injury-decimated Angels. The righty performed well in a pinch, shutting down Toronto's offense before reaching his limit of 80 pitches. Wright was expected to make just one start to give the Angels' current five-man rotation a breather, but Sunday's performance could keep him on the 25-man roster, even if it is as a reliever.

Wright will get the start during Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Pedro Moura of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels were forced to use Jesse Chavez in relief during a 13-inning loss to the Blue Jays on Friday, so Chavez was forced off his scheduled turn Sunday, opening up a temporary spot in the rotation for Wright. The 26-year-old, who gave up three runs over four innings in his lone other appearance on the season back on April 13, likely won't be asked to work deep into Sunday's contest and doesn't profile as an intriguing cost-relief option in DFS contests. It wouldn't be surprising if he's shipped back to Triple-A Salt Lake after the start.

Wright was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Cam Bedrosian being placed on the disabled list, a spot opened up for Wright. Wright was deemed a candidate to make a spot start Sunday against the Blue Jays, as Jesse Chavez (who is scheduled to start) had to enter Friday's game in a relief role. The Angels have yet to say whether or not they'll utilize Wright on Sunday, but recalling him gives them the option to do so. Wright pitched one major-league game this season, during which he allowed three runs over four innings.
