Withrow was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, Kevin McAlpin of the Braves Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves needed reinforcements for their bullpen after Casey Kelly, who was previously scheduled to start Saturday, was forced to fire 77 pitches in relief during Wednesday's 13-inning marathon match with the Brewers. Withrow has been lights out for the Triple-A squad, not allowing a run and striking out 10 batters in 8.1 innings out of the bullpen, making him a clear callup candidate. He'll likely work in lower-leverage situations until the Braves are in need of a fifth starter again. To make room for him on the roster, starting pitcher Casey Kelly was optioned to Triple-A.

Withrow was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has generally been serviceable in his 10 appearances out of the bullpen to date, allowing three runs on five hits and five walks over seven innings. However, with the Braves deciding to prioritize adding bench depth over bullpen help, Emilio Bonifacio will be added to the 25-man roster at Withrow's expense.

Withrow has pitched 3.1 scoreless frames over four appearances since blowing a save against the Cardinals on April 10.
EDGE Analysis
He allowed one run on one hit and two walks in that relief appearance versus St. Louis, which technically counted as a blown save because he gave up the lead even though he pitched in the fifth inning. Since then, he's allowed just one base runner, which was a walk last Wednesday versus Washington. It's obviously a small sample size, but should Atlanta's bullpen continue to struggle, Withrow could see a bigger role.

Withrow was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Withrow has only made one appearance in the minors this season, but did spend a few weeks with the big league club during spring training. Now that he's back with the Braves, look for the right-hander to serve in middle relief.

Withrow (elbow) was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old missed all of the 2015 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2014. It appears the Braves want to ease Withrow back into action by allowing him to open the year in Triple-A. The former first-round pick posted a 2.95 ERA over 21.3 innings with the Dodgers in 2014 and could get the opportunity to contribute to the Braves' bullpen should he find similar success this season.

Withrow (elbow) agreed to a one-year contract with the Braves on Thursday, avoiding arbitration, Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The last we saw of Withrow at the major league level in 2014, he was walking far too many batters but also missing bats, posting a 2.95 ERA in 21.1 innings with the Dodgers despite issuing 18 free passes. He underwent Tommy John surgery in the summer of 2014 but is expected to be fully healthy for spring training, where he will attempt to lock down a bullpen gig with the Braves.

Withrow (elbow) is expected to be fully healthy by the start of spring training, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Withrow missed the entire 2015 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in June of 2014, but he'll now have a full offseason to go through his normal routine. The 26-year-old was a solid option out of the bullpen for the Dodgers when healthy, and he'll try to establish himself as a late inning option now for the Braves next season.

Withrow (elbow) is headed to the Braves along with Juan Uribe in a trade that sends Alberto Callaspo, Ian Thomas, Eric Stults, and Juan Jaime to the Dodgers, MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports.
Withrow is still working his way back from Tommy John surgery, but the Braves are hoping he can regain the form that has produced a 2.73 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 71 strikeouts over 56 big league innings. If he can, Withrow could factor into the closer mix in Atlanta at some point.

Withrow (elbow) has been placed on the 60-day DL, ESPN's Arash Markazi reports. The move to the 60-day DL comes as little surprise as he underwent Tommy John surgery back in June. In 20 appearances in 2014, Withrow had a 2.95 ERA with 28 strikeouts and 18 walks.

Withrow doesn't expect to return until the end of the season, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
The Dodgers' don't have the deepest of bullpens, so Withrow should have a chance to break into at least a seventh-inning role when he returns. He's been very solid in his 56 career innings (2.73 ERA), but we'll have to see how he recovers first.
