Dodgers transferred RHP Chris Withrow from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. The move clears room on the 40-man roster for Miguel Rojas. Withrow is out for the season following Tommy John surgery.

The team announced last Thursday that Withrow was diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow, so Tommy John surgery was considered an inevitability. The 25-year-old owns a 2.73 ERA and 71 strikeouts over his first 56 innings in the majors, but he'll now be sidelined until around midseason in 2015.
