Chris Tillman won his ninth game Tuesday, holding the Indians to three runs over seven innings in the 6-3 victory. Tillman got off to a rough start, issuing four free passes over the first three frames, but he settled in after that and wound up allowing just four hits while striking out six. It's been rare where Tillman was dominant this season, but he's been awfully solid since late April, allowing more than three runs in just one of 13 outings. He'll carry a 3.72 ERA and 1.30 WHIP into this weekend's start at home against the Yankees.

Chris Tillman allowed just one run over seven innings as the Orioles defeated the Astros 4-1 on Tuesday. After struggling in a no-decision his last time out, Tillman's lone blemish Tuesday was a solo home run hit by Brandon Barnes. Otherwise, the right-hander was on-point, striking out eight while allowing just four hits on the evening. Tillman's next start will be a bit more challenging, as he gets the Rays on Sunday.

Chris Tillman allowed six runs, including four home runs, over 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Wednesday. Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman got to Tillman for three of them, driving in four of the six runs the right-hander allowed. Tillman has been plagued by home runs in recent starts, having now allowed 11 homers in his past 28 2/3 innings through Wednesday. He'll have a better shot at a quality outing Tuesday against the Astros.

Chris Tillman was good enough to win Wednesday, yielding three runs on five hits and three walks over six frames in a 5-3 victory over the Royals. Tillman looked like he was going to put up a fourth straight great start, but the Royals got to him in the sixth with a two-out walk followed by a Mike Moustakas homer. Still, Tillman has righted the ship after struggling early on, as he boasts a 2.03 ERA over his last four outings. He'll try to keep it going next week with starts against the Padres and Rays.

Chris Tillman spun eight shutout frames in a 5-1 win over the Angels on Thursday night. Tillman limited the Angels to just three hits (all singles) and two walks while striking out three. He retired 11 batters in a row at one point. His outing matched Wei-Yin Chen (April 26) for the longest start by an Oriole this season. He'll look to keep it going next week against the Royals.
