Chris Tillman spun eight shutout frames in a 5-1 win over the Angels on Thursday night. Tillman limited the Angels to just three hits (all singles) and two walks while striking out three. He retired 11 batters in a row at one point. His outing matched Wei-Yin Chen (April 26) for the longest start by an Oriole this season. While he got off to a bit of a shaky start this season, Tillman has allowed just three runs over his last three starts and now owns a 3.63 ERA. He'll look to keep it going next week against the Royals.
