Chris Tillman was knocked around for six runs in 5 2/3 innings against the Brewers on Monday. Tillman has allowed 12 runs on 13 hits and seven walks in 6 2/3 innings over two starts since his 117-pitch shutout victory on May 16. Perhaps his recent groin soreness is still an issue. His ERA now stands at 4.69 for the year. Assuming he feels healthy, he'll get the Astros next in Houston this weekend.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Friday that Chris Tillman (groin) remains on schedule to start on Monday in Milwaukee. Tillman is dealing with some groin soreness, but he threw his regular bullpen session Friday with no issues. The righty was rocked his last time out, so the Orioles will keep a close eye on him.

Chris Tillman's next scheduled start on Monday could be pushed back due to a slight groin issue. Tillman first felt the groin issue during his shutout last week, and it seems likely that it affected him when he was blasted for eight runs -- six earned -- over an inning of work in his last outing. It doesn't at this point sound like the disabled list is under consideration, but the Orioles might need a spot starter for Monday.

Chris Tillman was hammered for eight runs (six earned) in an inning of work but got the no-decision in Wednesday's loss to the Pirates. The Pirates were hitting Tillman when he was near the strike zone and taking pitches when he wasn't, a recipe for failure for anyone. Tillman surrendered six hits, walked three, and struck out one as he watched his ERA balloon to 4.21. Not exactly the follow-up to last week's complete game shutout that the Orioles had in mind. Tillman will attempt to pick up his fifth win on the road against the Brewers next.

Chris Tillman tossed a complete game shutout as the Orioles defeated the Royals on Friday. Tillman had an easy night against the Royals' anemic offense, scattering five hits and a walk while striking out three. It's the second complete game and the first shutout of Tillman's major league career. Tillman continues to post good results despite a pedestrian ability to miss bats, now carrying a 3.34 ERA with a 4-2 record. He'll face the Indians at home next.

Chris Tillman has some minor groin discomfort. The Orioles aren't sure whether he's going to be able to take his next turn in the starting rotation. Tillman allowed three runs over five innings in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

Chris Tillman allowed three runs over five innings in Sunday's loss to the Astros. Tillman issued five free passes, and he's now walked 19 batters in 47 2/3 innings this year. He also gave up four hits -- including a Jason Castro three-run homer that accounted for all the damage against him -- and struck out three in the outing. The loss dropped him to 3-2 with a 3.97 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in eight starts. He'll take on the Royals in Kansas City on Friday.

Chris Tillman allowed three runs in 4 2/3 innings but got the no-decision as the Orioles defeated the Pirates 6-5 in 10 innings on Thursday. Tillman allowed six hits and walked three while striking out eight. The right-hander has now gone three consecutive starts without making it through the sixth inning, a far cry from his first three dominant outings to start the season. Tillman, though, has been missing plenty of bats, compiling a 35/12 K/BB ratio in 36 2/3 innings on the season. He'll make his next start on the road against the Rays.
