Davis will bat fifth as the designated hitter in Tuesday's game in Tampa Bay, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. After serving the final game of his suspension on Opening Day, Davis will make his season debut against Rays right-hander Nate Karns, who has just five big-league starts to his name. Davis had a mediocre spring in the wake of his disappointing 2014 campaign, slashing .250/.313/.450 over 60 at-bats. He's been durable over the past few seasons, and he was approved for an exemption to take Adderall again.

Davis is eligible to return from his suspension for Tuesday's game against the Rays. Assuming he's in the starting lineup, Davis will have a favorable matchup against Rays right-hander Nate Karns. Coming off a miserable 2014, the lefty slugger slashed .250/.313/.450 in the Grapefruit League, with three home runs and 20 strikeouts in 60 at-bats.

Davis will miss Opening Day due to suspension, but he'll be back in the mix for the O's second game of these season as he looks to bounce back from a dismal 2014 campaign.
