Davis was 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and three RBI in the Orioles win over the Blue Jays on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
The home runs pushed his season total to 40 to go with an even 100 RBI and a modest .255 average. Davis has always been streaky, and he is in one of those hot stretches right now. He now has multiple home runs in each of the last two games, and has hit two or more in a game six times this year. If he's on your fantasy roster, enjoy the ride.

Davis went 3-for-4 with two homers -- including an 11th-inning walk-off shot -- and three RBI against the Rays on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
After an awful season last year, Davis has provided something like a best-case scenario this season despite strikeout and walk rates that remain nearly unchanged. He's seen his average rebound to .253 -- identical to his career average -- and is now just one homer back of Nelson Cruz's MLB-leading 39.

Davis (illness) is in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Davis was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup, but he apparently made some progress overnight. He'll close out the first half with a tough matchup against Max Scherzer.

Davis (illness) slowly felt better as Saturday wore on, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Davis began feeling ill around 5:30 Saturday night and took and IV when he got to the park. Manager Joe Buck did not update the exact illness, but Davis could be ready to go for Sunday's series finale.

Davis has been scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Nationals due to gastroenteritis, Rich Dubroff of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports. Davis was scratched less than an hour before the opening pitch, with Steve Pearce replacing him in right field. Jimmy Paredes will now bat cleanup.

Davis hit a pair of home runs en route to four RBI Tuesday against the Rangers. The ball was flying out of the park in Baltimore on Tuesday, as Mitch Moreland also hit a pair of home runs. Davis now has a 10-game hitting streak, and he has raised his average on the season from .220 to .238 over that span.

Davis will make a second straight start in right field Sunday against the Indians, MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli reports. Apparently enamored with Chris Parmelee's bat but dissatisfied with his range in the corner outfield, manager Buck Showalter has moved Davis off first base in order to create a more optimal defense setup. While Davis is somewhat of a neophyte in the outfield in his own right, fantasy owners won't complain if it allows him to gain eligibility at the position.

Davis went 2-for-3 with a home run and three runs scored in Sunday's win over Toronto. Davis was one of many Oriole hitters to have a big day on Sunday in a 13-9 win over the Blue Jays. He recorded his 15th home run of the year to go along with 40 RBI and a .226 average. The average is definitely a concern, but if Davis continues to produce in the power categories, he'll still remain a very solid fantasy option.

Davis went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs in Friday's win over the Yankees. The long ball marked the first of the month of June for Davis and he now has 13 for the season. There is certainly tremendous raw power and he may threaten 40 home runs for the season, but there is no question that his 2013 season looks to be a career year. Davis slugged .404 last year and he is slugging .476 this season, down from .501 in 2012 and .634 in 2013.

Davis was 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in the Orioles win over Tampa Bay on Friday night. The streaky Davis has found his power stroke recently hammering four home runs over the last three days. He now has 12 long ones and 30 RBI, but strikeouts will continue to hobble his batting average (currently just .228) so take the power and enjoy the production while he's hot.
