Davis is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Davis blasted his 12th home run of the season Tuesday, but he's still largely struggling at the plate and is hitting just .103 over his last nine games. Mark Trumbo will take over at first base, with Nolan Reimold filling in at right field against Kansas City starter Edinson Volquez.

Davis went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Tuesday's 9-1 victory over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran slugger is still scuffling considerably at the plate, but his power stroke hasn't abandoned him. The long ball Tuesday was Davis' second in the last five games, putting him one away from his rather paltry May total in that category. Despite the success, Davis continues to sport a forgettable .214 average, and has fanned 79 times over 206 at-bats.

Davis went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer, two runs and a walk Friday at the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Davis' 10th homer broke open a tie game in the seventh inning, leading the Orioles to a victory. He only has two hits in his last 15 at-bats, and he's slashing .243/.363/.500.

Davis went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and four RBI in the 9-2 victory over the Twins on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He hit a two-run blast in the fourth and RBI double in the sixth. Davis recorded another RBI on a ground out in the seventh. He is 7-for-10 (.700) with four extra-base hits in the series against Minnesota. Davis went 1-for-21 (.048) in the six games before the start of the Twins series.

Davis went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in the 5-2 victory during the nightcap of a double header against the Athletics on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The first baseman went 1-for-7 in the double header. He's been in a major slump recently, going just 1-for-18 (.056) in the last five games, including Saturday. Davis has eight homers this season, but he has just one since April 28.

Davis (thumb) is in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Yankees, MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was spotted with a wrap on his thumb following Wednesday's game, but his presence in Thursday's lineup indicates he is not dealing with any sort of serious setback. Davis will man first base like he has done in every game this season and hit third against Yankees starter Masahiro Tanaka.

Davis was spotted with his left thumb heavily wrapped following Wednesday's game, Eduardo Encina of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis hardly seemed concerned about the status of his thumb, but it would be the explanation if he was held out of Thursday's lineup. The Orioles figure to confirm Davis' status for Thursday's game several hours before first pitch.

Davis went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the third inning of Thursday's lopsided win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
His seventh homer of the season was the front side of a back-to-back job with Mark Trumbo. Through the first month of 2016, Davis' production has been fairly typical for his career (low average and high power). However, there are a couple of encouraging peripherals in that his walk rate is continuing to climb and his strikeout rate is continuing to decline.

Davis went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer and two more strikeouts Wednesday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
While the slugger's settled into a nice power routine -- he's homered in every even-numbered game so far -- he's also on track to strike out in more than 30 percent of his at-bats yet again. But that's no big news to his fantasy owners, who may as well settle in and enjoy the ride.

Davis went 2-for-4 with his first homer of the season in Wednesday's win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
We can expect to see a lot more of the same from Davis, who's got 53- and 47-homer campaigns to his credit in each of his last two full seasons. Unless your fantasy league docks you for strikeouts, he's an incredible asset who should clear 40 homers again this year, health permitting, while racking up plenty of counting stats. Although Davis does have that tough 2014 season in which he hit .196 on his permanent record, he's hit at least .262 (last year's average) in three of the last four campaigns, so there's not as much risk here as that bad year would imply.
