Ken Gurnick of MLB.com thinks the Dodgers could trade either Chris Capuano or Aaron Harang if they're able to sign Ryu Hyun-Jin and Ted Lilly and Chad Billingsley come back healthy.
The Dodgers won negotiating rights with Hyun-Jin with a reported bid of $25.7 million and will have 30 days to work out a deal. Meanwhile, Lilly is coming off of arthroscopic shoulder surgery and Billingsley is trying to pitch through a partially torn ligament in his elbow. The Dodgers could also still go after Anibal Sanchez and/or Hiroki Kuroda, creating even more of a logjam in the rotation. It's a fluid situation that should be sorted out over the winter.

Chris Capuano won for the first time in six weeks by holding the Padres to one run in 5 1/3 innings on Thursday.
Capuano allowed five hits, walked four and struck out just two, so it was hardly a stellar outing. Still, it put him back over .500 at 12-11 for the year. It was his first win in four starts against San Diego this season.

Chris Capuano pitched well in a no-decision against the Giants on Saturday, allowing just two runs on five hits over his seven innings of work.
Capuano walked three and struck out three. Buster Posey was responsible for most of the damage, driving home a run with an RBI single in the first inning, then doubling and scoring the other Giants run on a Brandon Belt ground out in the seventh. It was a nice bounce-back effort from Capuano, who had posted an 8.44 ERA over his previous three starts. He'll look to carry that momentum over to Friday's crucial home outing against the Cardinals.

Chris Capuano had an off night in Wednesday's loss to the Giants, allowing six runs on six hits in five innings.
Capuano struck out two and walked none as he fell to 11-9. The rough outing snaps a string of three consecutive seven-inning quality starts to start off August. Capuano will look to bounce-back against the Rockies in Colorado next Tuesday, where he'll be sporting a 3.38 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 145/46 K/BB ratio at first pitch. For what it's worth, he owns a 3.46 ERA in 39 career innings at Coors Field.

He's been extremely impressive in his first season with the Dodgers, posting an 11-8 record, 3.14 ERA and 143/46 K/BB ratio. He'll attempt to get back in the win column when he squares off against the Giants at home on Wednesday.

Chris Capuano was roughed up by the Cardinals on Thursday, allowing six runs and 11 hits over 4 1/3 innings in a loss.
Capuano is 1-4 with a 4.50 ERA over his last six starts. It's not very likely that he'll return to early-season form with his inning count piling up, so mixed leaguers could consider making a change.

Chris Capuano was hurt by the poor defense behind him in Sunday's loss to the Padres, as he allowed four runs (none earned) on five hits in 6 2/3 innings.
Capuano walked one while striking out three in the game. An errant throw by Mark Ellis allowed the first run to score in the second inning, then an error by Jerry Hairston Jr. led to three more unearned runs in the seventh inning. Capuano is enjoying his finest professional season to date, posting a 9-5 record and 2.75 ERA through his first 19 starts as a Dodger. He'll look to get back in the win column when he takes on the Mets in New York on Saturday.
