Chris Capuano was hurt by the poor defense behind him in Sunday's loss to the Padres, as he allowed four runs (none earned) on five hits in 6 2/3 innings. Capuano walked one while striking out three in the game. An errant throw by Mark Ellis allowed the first run to score in the second inning, then an error by Jerry Hairston Jr. led to three more unearned runs in the seventh inning. Capuano is enjoying his finest professional season to date, posting a 9-5 record and 2.75 ERA through his first 19 starts as a Dodger. He'll look to get back in the win column when he takes on the Mets in New York on Saturday.
