Chris Capuano won for the first time in six weeks by holding the Padres to one run in 5 1/3 innings on Thursday. Capuano allowed five hits, walked four and struck out just two, so it was hardly a stellar outing. Still, it put him back over .500 at 12-11 for the year. It was his first win in four starts against San Diego this season.
