Gonzalez (calf) is playing right field and batting cleanup during Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was lifted early from Thursday's game with right calf tightness and subsequently sat out the following two games to allow his injured calf ample time to heal. It appears the slugger is feeling better as he's ready to rejoin the heart of the Rockies' batting order Sunday. The 31-year-old is off to a slow start this season but should begin to put up more productive numbers sooner than later while hitting in the middle of a potent Rockies' lineup.

Gonzalez (calf) is not in the lineup Saturday against the Diamondbacks, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez is still apparently being bothered by some calf tightness, so he'll take a seat for the second straight game. The injury doesn't appear to be overly serious, so Gonzalez is truly day-to-day at this point. With Gonzalez out, Ian Desmond has shifted to left field and Gerardo Parra to right.

Gonzalez (calf) is not in Friday's lineup against Arizona, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Gonzalez's calf tightness is not said to be serious, it appears the Rockies are still taking things cautiously with their star outfielder. Colorado will also be hoping that his extra day out of the lineup will give him some more time to regroup from a slow start to the season in which he has slashed .200/.268/.310 to go along with two home runs.

EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was lifted from Thursday's game in the ninth inning, but manager Bud Black confirmed that the right fielder's removal was simply precautionary. It sounds like Gonzalez should be available for Friday's series opener against the Diamondbacks.

Gonzalez (hand) is back in the lineup Friday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
X-rays on Gonzalez's right hand were negative after he was hit by a Clayton Kershaw fastball on Wednesday. He left Wednesday's game but will not end up missing a start as a result of the injury. The 31-year-old is off to a slow start this season, batting .175 and slugging .298 with 13 strikeouts in 57 at-bats so far. He will look to get it going against right-hander Johnny Cueto.

Gonzalez, who exited Wednesday's game against the Dodgers early, was diagnosed with a bruised right hand.
EDGE Analysis
With the way Gonzalez reacted after being plunked on the hand by Kershaw's fastball, it seemed that he may have seriously injured his hand. With the X-rays coming back negative, it appears that the 31-year-old won't be on the shelf for long. He'll continue to be listed as day-to-day.

Gonzalez exited Tuesday's game against the Dodgers early after being hit by a pitch on his hand, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was struck on the hand by a Clayton Kershaw fastball while making a check swing in the top of the fourth inning. Though the pitch was ruled a foul ball, Gonzalez appeared to be in quite a bit of pain and was ultimately replaced by Stephen Cardullo. A diagnosis of his exact injury should become available in the near future.

Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a strikeout and a walk in Team Venezuela's 4-3 win over Team Italy on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Monday's showing brought CarGo's World Baseball Classic batting line up to .313 with an .827 OPS. Gonzalez has come out with his thoughts on how the tournament positively impacts his performance during the regular season, and although the proof behind that correlation remains to seen, Gonzalez will have a few more opportunities to play in the Classic as his team takes on Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Team USA in the coming days.
