Maybin left Saturday's game against the Nationals before the bottom of the fourth inning, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gio Gonzalez got Maybin looking to end the top of the fourth, and the outfielder did not come back out to begin the bottom of the frame. It's uncertain what caused his early exit, but Maybin has been battling leg and shoulder ailments of late.

Maybin is out of the lineup Wednesday because he's a little "banged up," David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
It sounds as though Maybin's issues are nothing major, and he's just receiving a day off to rest up some nagging injures. Consider him day-to-day, but he should be back in the lineup within the next couple days.

Maybin is not in the starting lineup for a second-straight game Monday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Maybin has only missed two consecutive games one other time since the beginning of June as Michael Bourn takes over in center field yet again and bats eighth. If Maybin sits Tuesday there will be serious cause for concern, but until that happens it seems that he's just getting extended rest.

Maybin has been scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Rockies, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Maybin has only missed one start in the last month, so he likely just felt a tweak he wasn't comfortable playing with. His usual backup Eury Perez will take over center field and bat second.

Maybin went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Wednesday's loss to the Brewers.
He has now hit safely in eight straight games to begin July, with five extra-base hits (two homers) over that span. The 28-year-old is having a career year in his first season with Atlanta, slashing .295/.362/.429 with eight home runs and 15 steals in 76 games to this point. Maybin is under team control for another two years, but there have been rumors that the Braves may at least look in to selling high on him at the deadline.

Maybin is not in the starting lineup against the Pirates on Friday night.
Maybin collected a hit in each of the three games against the Nats in the Braves' most recent series, but he'll yield the No. 2 spot in the order (and center field) to Eury Perez against Francisco Liriano and the Bucs on Friday night.

Maybin went 3-for-6 Saturday with a double, three RBI and his 11th stolen base of the season.
His single back up the middle off Carlos Torres in the 11th inning brought home two runs and sealed the win for the Braves. Maybin has been a revelation this season, slashing .303/.375/.421 while playing solid defense in center field, and if he can stay healthy for once he might finally deliver on the promise he showed as the 10th overall pick in 2005.

Maybin went 3-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base, and a run scored in the Braves' loss to Pittsburgh on Friday night.
Working from the leadoff spot Friday, Maybin stayed hot Friday night en route to his fourth multi-hit game in his last five contests. For the season, he's showing a steady mix of on-base ability (.360 OBP), power (five homers), and speed (eight steals) while giving the Braves a quality defender in center field.
