CSNBayArea.com's Andrew Baggarly reports Brian Wilson will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the UCL in his right (pitching) elbow.

According to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle, Giants closer Brian Wilson has structural damage in his elbow and faces possible surgery. Uh oh. Shea also mentions that Wilson will possibly be meeting with Dr. James Andrews, which is never good news. Should Wilson need surgery, he'd be unlikely to return and contribute for the remainder of the season. In this case, Sergio Romo would step in as the likely closer and take on tremendous value in fantasy leagues everywhere. Stay tuned for further updates.
