It's hard to give McCarthy too much of the benefit of the doubt, though, as the loss dropped him to 0-4 with a 6.23 ERA. The Phillies get to face the struggling right-hander on Sunday.

He gave up 12 runs -- 10 earned -- in 11 2/3 innings in his first two start of last year on his way to going 0-3 with a 7.48 ERA in April. Next up for him is the Dodgers, so he's not a great play in NL-only leagues.
