Andrew McCutchen is dealing with soreness on the bottom of his left foot as a result of landing on first base awkwardly during Thursday's game. McCutchen stayed in the game and made a nice running catch and also stole a base. He's dealt with a left ankle issue this season but said the ailments are unrelated. "I can run on it fine," he said. "It's more just trying to stop or having to maneuver at the last second." While a bit of an annoyance, it doesn't sound like something that's going to keep McCutchen out of the lineup.
