Colome notched his 17th save in Thursday's 7-5 win over the White Sox, allowing one hit and recording two strikeouts over a scoreless inning.
EDGE Analysis
Colome was called on for the second straight night after not making any appearances over the first six days of June. He's thrown a total of 40 pitches over that pair of outings, so he'll likely be unavailable for at least Friday's series-opener against the A's. Colome has successfully converted 12 consecutive save opportunities dating back to May 1.

Colome gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to notch his 16th save of the season in a 3-1 win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander hadn't pitched in a week but showed no rust, converting his 11th straight save chance. Colome now sports a 1.98 ERA and 0.99 WHIP on the year and with the Rays just 5.5 games back in a winnable AL East, they may not be inclined to trade away their lockdown closer over the summer.

Colome gave up two hits, a walk and a run, but still recorded the final three outs of Wednesday's 10-inning win over Texas for his 15th save.
EDGE Analysis
He had a three-run cushion to work with, so Colome had the luxury of giving up a rare earned run -- just his second in his last 14 appearances. With a 2.05 ERA and 0.99 WHIP, Colome remains one of the game's more productive closers.

Colome struck out the side on 11 pitches in the ninth inning of Monday's 10-8 win over the Rangers, notching his 14th save.
EDGE Analysis
Colome mowed through Rougned Odor, Jonathan Lucroy and Joey Gallo, getting all three on swinging strikes to close out the high-scoring victory. The 28-year-old has gone 9-for-9 in save opportunities during May while also notching a victory on Sunday against the Twins. The impressive stretch has lowered Colome's ERA nearly a full run from 2.77 to 1.78, while his WHIP is now a stellar 0.91 following Monday's effort.

Colome allowed an unearned run on two hits while walking two and striking out one in two innings for his first win of the year in Sunday's 8-6 win over the Twins in 15 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Colome has now allowed only five runs while striking out 20 and walking eight in 24.1 innings on the season. His 7.4 K/9 leaves a little something to be desired, but the 28-year-old closer has been pretty darn good so far (1.85 ERA) and is in no danger whatsoever of losing his role anytime soon.

Colome gave up a hit and struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings Friday to pick up his 13th save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
He's now converted all eight of his save chances in May, posting a 0.87 ERA, 0.39 WHIP and 11:1 K:BB in 10.1 innings during the month. Friday's save was also the 50th of Colome's career, all of which have come in the last two seasons. The 28-year-old might yet end up getting dealt at the trade deadline, but as long as he's in a closer role he should continue posting elite numbers.

Colome recorded his 12th save with a clean ninth inning against the Angels on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He needed only 10 pitches (six strikes) to get the job done. Colome's sitting on a tidy 2.14 ERA and 0.86 WHIP, and he's 12-for-14 in save tries. The strikeout rate's dropped noticeably, but he's remained quite effective nonetheless. He's not among the game's top few closers, but Colome's one of the finest arms in the middle of the pack.

Colome pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out one to earn his 11th save Friday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Colome was protecting a one-run lead, and he was able to shut down the Yankees to notch his 11th save of the year. He's now converted 10-0f-12 save opportunities, and although not an elite closer, he's certainly a strong fantasy option.

Colome worked around a hit with two strikeouts to record his 10th save of the season Tuesday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Entering with a two-run lead, Colome allowed a leadoff single to Edwin Encarnacion before sitting down the next three men he faced. He now has an outstanding 2.00 ERA to go along with a 0.94 WHIP this season and has blown just two saves in 12 chances.

Colome was brought on in the eighth inning in Sunday's 11-2 win over the Red Sox, getting the final out of the frame with a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
The closer was brought on for what presumably would have been a four-out save, as the Rays were clinging to a 4-2 lead at the time. Colome came on with two aboard and set down Hanley Ramirez on a swinging strike three to snuff out the threat. However, given Tampa's seven-run explosion in the top half of the ninth, there was no need for manager Kevin Cash to send Colome back out for the ninth. The 28-year-old right-hander has yet to give up a hit over the five innings spanning his six May appearances.
