Colome allowed one hit and two walks over 1.1 scoreless innings against the Red Sox on Saturday for his 24th save of the season. He struck out one batter.
EDGE Analysis
Following a stretch of five straight appearances with at least one run allowed -- he allowed multiple runs in four of those -- Colome has now turned in back-to-back scoreless outings. He is currently tied with Minnesota's Brandon Kintzler for the American League lead in saves.

Colome pitched a scoreless ninth inning with a strikeout to collect his 23rd save of the season during Thursday's win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Colome had allowed at least one run in each of his previous five appearances for an 18.00 ERA and 3.20 WHIP, so this was an encouraging bounce-back showing. Additionally, despite his struggles, Tampa Bay has continued to turn to Colome, and he also collected three saves and a win during that stretch. While he's probably still on watch, it's clear that he has a strong hold on his job.

Colome allowed two runs on two hits and two walks over an inning of work but was able to escape with his 22nd save of the season Tuesday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Colome needed every bit of the three-run lead he was staked to upon entering the game as he put two men on before allowing an RBI single to Anthony Rizzo and a run-scoring fielder's choice off the bat of Ben Zobrist. He then walked a man but was able to close out the game by getting Jason Heyward to fly out. Colome has struggled mightily of late, allowing a whopping 10 earned runs over five innings in his last five appearances to inflate his ERA to 4.10. His saving grace is the fact that he has only blown one save during that rough stretch, but he will need to improve his performance if he is to maintain his role on a club that is scrapping for a playoff spot.

Colome allowed one run one on one hit while striking out two to earn his 21st save Friday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Despite allowing a solo homer to Mark Trumbo, Colome came into the game with a three-run lead, so he easily converted the save. Although he's blown four saves while posting a 3.72 ERA, he's an extremely valuable fantasy commodity based on his ability to pile up saves.

Colome allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in an inning of work while blowing a save Tuesday against the Pirates. He struck out two and was ultimately credited with the win.
EDGE Analysis
Entering with a two-run lead, Colome proceeded to hit John Jaso before allowing back-to-back doubles to Josh Harrison and Andrew McCutchen to tie the score. He closed out the inning and was handed his second win of the season when the Rays pulled it out in the bottom of the 10th. Colome has struggled of late, allowing seven earned runs over his last three innings of work to raise his ERA to 3.57. Surely the 2016 All-Star has the latitude to turn things around, and he should be given the opportunity to work out of his current funk.

Colome (1-3) allowed three runs on two hits and two walks in the ninth inning of Sunday's loss to Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Colome also allowed two runs in his previous appearance, so it's now a concerning two-game stretch for the closer. He sports a 3.15 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 8.4 K/9 for the year, and it doesn't appear that his job is in any imminent danger. However, it's definitely worth keeping tabs on his next few outings.

Colome gave up two runs on three hits in the ninth inning Tuesday but still came away with his 20th save of the season in a 6-5 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
After retiring the first two batters of the inning, Colome got taken deep by Joey Votto for a solo homer and then allowed another run on two straight hits before striking out Scott Schebler to end the threat. The Rays closer has now been scored upon in four of his last nine appearances but still has a solid 2.43 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB in 33.1 innings on the year.

Colome struck out one and allowed just one hit in 1.2 scoreless innings to earn his 19th save of the season Saturday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
It was smooth sailing for Colome, who notched his first save in nearly a week after recording the final five outs. He was brought on in the eighth inning with a runner on second but was able to strike out Alex Presley before ending the inning with a Nick Castellanos groundout. Colome now owns an impressive 1.95 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 29 strikeouts in 32.1 innings this season, while his 19 saves remain tied for the second highest total in all of baseball.

Colome worked around two hits and a walk with one strikeout in a scoreless inning to earn his 18th save of the season Sunday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Colome played with fire in this one, allowing three straight men to reach to load the bases with just one out. He buckled down to get the final two outs, however, including a punchout of Khris Davis to end the game. He was coming off a blown save in Saturday's contest, and while he struggled a bit over the weekend, Colome still owns a 2.05 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP while the 18 saves are tied for second in all of baseball.

Colome allowed a run on two hits to blow his third save of the season during Saturday's win over Oakland in the first game of their doubleheader.
EDGE Analysis
The closer had gone 16 consecutive appearances (16.2 innings) since he last blew an attempt and collected a win and 12 saves during that span. With a 2.12 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 8.2 K/9 for the year, Colome has a stranglehold on the ninth-inning gig for the Rays, and he's a rock-solid asset in all fantasy settings.
