Adam Lind singled and belted a three-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Royals.
Lind went hitless the next three contests after his two-homer game last Friday, but he found his stroke again tonight. We're expecting ups and downs, but Lind could turn out to be a decent corner infield option in fantasy leagues in the second half.

Adam Lind smashed a pair of home runs and drove home four, leading the Blue Jays to a 7-5 win over the Angels on Friday.
He finished the night 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored and four RBI. his three-run shot off Ervin Santana in the fourth inning put the Angels up 5-2. Lind then added a valuable insurance run with a solo blast of Hisinori Takahashi in the eighth. The power has always been present, and if the gains he made at Triple-A are proven to be real, he could be a very valuable fantasy asset in the second half of the season.

Adam went 2-for-4 in his return to the Blue Jays' starting lineup on Tuesday night.
After mashing the ball at Triple-A Las Vegas, Lind is off to a nice start in his return to Toronto's active roster. He'll likely be used in a platoon role -- sitting against most left-handed pitchers -- but the first baseman still has good power potential and should be owned in AL-only leagues moving forward.

Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said Adam Lind could be ready to rejoin the team "soon."
Lind was placed on outright waivers by the Jays, meaning he could have been claimed by anyone willing to pick up his salary, so he would not seem to be in the team's good graces right now. But, Anthopoulos has gotten positive reports of Lind's play at Triple-A Las Vegas, where he's hitting a blistering .404/.483/.660 with three homers over 58 plate appearances. Lind was batting just .186/.273/.314 before being sent down earlier this month, but with David Cooper currently handling first base for the Jays, the team wouldn't have a whole lot to lose by giving him another shot.

Blue Jays sent 1B Adam Lind outright to Triple-A Las Vegas.
The move clears a spot for Robert Coello on the active roster. There were some conflicting reports in recent weeks, but it turns out they did place him on outright waivers. However, no team was willing to take on the remainder of his contract. The 28-year-old first baseman is making $5 million this season and is owed another $5 million in 2013. He's hitting .386/.453/.659 with three homers and 13 RBI in 53 plate appearances since his demotion earlier this month.

Adam Lind went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run Monday with Triple-A Las Vegas.
Lind has three hits in seven at-bats in two games since his demotion last week. We'd be stunned if he didn't hit well in the Pacific Coast League. Perhaps his trade value could increase if he gets off to a hot start.

According to Danny Knobler of CBS Sports, the Blue Jays placed Adam Lind on outright waivers Friday.
"No chance he gets claimed," said an American League executive. Lind was batting just .186/.273/.314 through 132 plate appearances this season and finished with a brutal .251/.295/.439 slash line in 2011. Toronto signed Lind to a four-year, $18 million contract extension prior to the 2010 season. The club is on the hook for a $2 million buyout of a club option after the 2013 season.
