Blue Jays sent 1B Adam Lind outright to Triple-A Las Vegas. The move clears a spot for Robert Coello on the active roster. There were some conflicting reports in recent weeks, but it turns out they did place him on outright waivers. However, no team was willing to take on the remainder of his contract. The 28-year-old first baseman is making $5 million this season and is owed another $5 million in 2013. He's hitting .386/.453/.659 with three homers and 13 RBI in 53 plate appearances since his demotion earlier this month.
