Eaton left Friday's game against the Tigers after he fouled a ball off his foot, J.J. Stankevitz of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Avisail Garcia replaced him in the outfield Friday, but Eaton is expected to be back in the lineup Saturday. In other news, Eaton took back his leadoff spot from Tim Anderson shortly after the All-Star break, and he has gone 5-for-21 since the switch.

Eaton went 2-for-4 with a homer, a steal, a walk, two runs and two RBI Friday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Eaton's fifth bomb of the year came in the fifth inning to pull the White Sox within three runs in a losing effort. He's now hit safely in five of his last six games, and he's slashing .277/.360/.402 on the season.

Eaton went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk in Saturday's 10-8 loss to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old's ninth-inning homer was his first since back on May 24 versus Cleveland, while the overall production represented his ninth multi-hit effort of June. After a somewhat lackluste month of May, Eaton has bounced back to produce a solid .271/.357/.400 line this month over 85 at-bats.

Eaton went 1-for-4 with three runs scored against the Red Sox on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He now has a hit in nine of his last 10 games, though he also reached base two other times Wednesday via a walk and fielder's choice. Similarly, his batting average is down from the .300+ peaks seen earlier in the season, but his current .358 OBP is right around his career average with the Sox.

Eaton went 4-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI, and a stolen based in the White Sox's win over the Tigers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
This was his first start of the season in the two-hole, with fresh prospect Tim Anderson serving as the leadoff man. Anderson did not do much ahead of Eaton, but Eaton still busted out of an 11-for-72 slump. Eaton could be involved in more hit-and-run and sac-bunt situations if Anderson remains atop the lineup and begins to hit.

Eaton will bat second in the lineup during Monday's game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Instead of his usual lead off position, Eaton will bat second while newbie Tim Anderson will get the chance to lead off. This move likely stems from a desire for the speed Anderson can provide at the top of the lineup.

Eaton went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
It's been feast or (mostly) famine recently for Eaton, who's gone hitless five times in his last seven games but racked up five hits in the other two. The slump has coincided with a six-game losing streak for the White Sox that has dropped them out of the AL Central lead, but Eaton's hardly the only one at fault. Things won't get any easier for him, though, as Chicago heads to Citi Field on Monday for an interleague series against the Mets.

Eaton will be out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Royals, Josh Vernier of 610 AM in Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eaton was originally scheduled to get the day off on Thursday, but the rain out pushed it back a day. With the White Sox facing left-hander Danny Duffy, Eaton will take his first game off since April 10. In his place, Avisail Garcia will man right field as Jerry Sands takes the role of DH for the start of this AL Central series. Eaton should be back in the lineup Saturday.

Eaton is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Eaton will get the day off with southpaw Danny Duffy on the mound for the Royals in favor of right-handed hitting Avisail Garcia. A little rest could prove beneficial as this is Eaton's first game off since April 10, but he should be back in the lineup Friday.

Eaton homered, a solo blast, in a 2-for-4 game in Tuesday's loss to Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Eaton was just 4-for-25 in his past five games entering Tuesday night, but he got back on track in a big way. After hitting 14 home runs last year, most of Eaton's power this year has come in the form of doubles (seven) or triples (four). Still, Eaton is hitting a robust .295/.378/.426, and if he can find a way to push some of those extra-base hits over the fence, he'll be able to post his second straight season with double-digit steals and home runs.
