Eaton will be out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Royals, Josh Vernier of 610 AM in Kansas City reports.

Eaton was originally scheduled to get the day off on Thursday, but the rain out pushed it back a day. With the White Sox facing left-hander Danny Duffy, Eaton will take his first game off since April 10. In his place, Avisail Garcia will man right field as Jerry Sands takes the role of DH for the start of this AL Central series. Eaton should be back in the lineup Saturday.
